So, I think the bachelor party might be taking Travis (Tmax98, ya know, guy who hasn't been around in a long while) to Vegas for a weekend for his bachelor party. It will be 9 guys total. Anyone have any insight on where to stay, etc...?

Budget, goals of the party in mind, and number of rooms desired.

All these things will infulence my ideas.

I'm an architecture and nature's wonders kind of guy and I love big spectacle events. My wife is an art kind of woman and would rather not deal with mega crowded locations all day.

My brother went to the Bahamas for his honeymoon last year and from the photos I saw, it is a mix of all that. They really enjoyed themselves.

Oh also do any of you guys have opinions on lawn mowers/tractors?

For mowers, I prefer Lawn Boy, but i don't know if they are made anymore. Toro and Honda make great equipment also. Riding mowers or tractors I am a Simplicity guy. They have the best floating deck on the market IMO. Gives for the smoothest cut. Of course, this is all dependent on how much you are cutting and what you are cutting as well. I've had a Wheel Horse, Craftsman, Cub Cadet and the Simplicity and I LOVE my Simplicity. My dad just bought a Deere a couple years ago and he's been wanting to trade it in on a Simplicity ever since.

That's weak! Gavin's three years old and he still sticks his hands down shirts like all boobies are his. It's awesome!

Toro bought Lawn-Boy back in the 80's. Interestingly, Toro started outsourcing their low end lines to MTD (Cub Cadet, Yard-Man, Troy-Bilt, Task Force, pretty sure some of the gas engine powered Huskee and Craftsmen products too) a few years back.

Had John Lennon voted in the 1980 presidential elections, he would have pulled the lever for Ronald Reagan according to his personal assistant Fred Seaman.

Seaman, who was Lennon’s assistant from 1979 until his untimely death the following year, told Beatles Stories director Seth Swirsky that Lennon had taken a political turn to the right in his last years after “sour[ing] on Jimmy Carter.”

“He was a very different person back in 1979 and 80 than he’d been when he wrote ‘Imagine’,” Seaman says. “By 1979 he looked back on that guy and was embarrassed by that guy’s naivety.”

Imagine that, :tehe:

i did that at the shop one time but with our oil burning furnace's reserve. I didn't know that it wasn't done evacuating itself (read still had over100psi in it). Pop the top and a few gallons of oil covered the back half of the shop and everything in it, including me.

9 guys so if would do 2 rooms it would be cool. If we could do one badass room that would be cool (Or Condo or something). Goals are probably to do some drinking, gambling (if in the area), any kind of event would be good (Sporting, etc..), beaches are good, women are good, a great party atmosphere. I'll throw out no strippers though because, honestly, eff that I have a girl friend and I get to touch.

In the future my wife may think different, but I will be proud.

Low level shit sucks. Stay away from Home Depot/Lowes

Real tractor stores FTW! We had a real John deer riding mower for something like 17 years then sold it to a neighbor that is hell on anything with an engine and its still ticking.

MTD makes Craftsman tractors as well, and push mowers. I sold Craftsman tractors for a few years...still good stuff.

John Deere has gone down in quality in the past 10 years or so.

The National Enquirer is reporting that NBC’s Chris Hansen, best known for telling perverts to take a seat over there on his hidden camera show To Catch a Predator, was caught cheating on his wife Mary Joan with 30-year-old WPTV NewsChannel 5 reporter Kristyn Caddell through a hidden camera sting operation orchestrated by the tabloid.

The Enquirer alleges that the two were spotted having a romantic dinner at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Manalapan just before heading over to Caddell’s Palm Beach apartment to spend the night.

According to a source, the pair have been hot and heavy for the past four months since meeting in the VIP area of a West Palm Beach club. “Chris and Kristyn got on so well that she ended up going back to his room at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach,” says the source, “and later boasted to pals about staying the night with him.”

Flying, unless it was somewhere close to Texas. Everyone is busy with stuff so it will be a late flight Friday and return on Sunday.

Honestly we want to spend about $900 per. Flight, Hotel, entertainment, etc.
