Damnit, I miss the sound of the Jeep without muffler.

Moped is out, backhoe isn't an option...nothing to make obnoxious noises with :(

Ok I spent the better part of the day playing with the BGE and Primo cookers. Learned a lot about both. Ate lots of food cooked on both also. The only difference between them is the shape and coal area. The Primo can be divided in half for a smaller fire area. The BGE has a better top vent system than the Primo. Both work awesome!

Both are assembled in Georgia. The BGE parts are made in Mexico and the Primo parts are made in China. Both are great cookers and work great!

The price difference between the BGE XL and the large Primo was $99. The BGE was less.

I went with the LG egg and bought everything I needed including all the goodies and a maverick thermometer. The only thing I did not get was a stand, they did not have the one I wanted. No big deal I will build one. If you are wondering why I bought everything, well they gave me a pretty sweet deal because I was the only one asking questions and getting in there playing with the cookers and accessories. I shall stop my rambling and give you this.

All tied up and ready to go.

I cooked on both the XL and LG. I liked the space on the XL, but the LG fits my needs very well.

Thanks! I have ribs rubbed down for tomorrow. :)

Might have to go buy the wood to make my stand tomorrow. I need something to do as my project list is getting smaller.

That's odd as I spoke with two Primo dealers and was informed that they are the only one 100% designed, built, and assembled in the USA. Here's a chart I found as well.
