Nice Ax.

If money allows I want some more of them in my home.

J

He was playing sandman for me and some other old rock. He really likes it.

Same price as those pickups and a way better buy. You can always flip it, but the pickups you would have been stuck with. Should be able to get some fat power chords out of it as well :)

That is the way we looked at. For the price of single coil pick up you can get a much better guitar.

Summerized the snowmobiles today :(

But also picked up a Mazzer Super Jolly grinder and a 19" rack off CL this week. Rack is in the basement and the grinder on the counter awaiting a full rebuild :)

Fricking stole the grinder. CL ad at $400, I paid $150. Could clean and ebay for $400 :)

IIRC that is basically a Jackson knockoff so if he likes the way that plays you know what the upgrade will be. Fingerings have to feel MILES better on it as well. You got me excited enough to yank my Ibanez & Gibson up into my office. figure there I might actually pick them up.

I need to buy a classical guitar though as that really keeps the fingers in good shape...and the music reading :)

So I started playing Semi-pro football starting with practices back in January, had our first game Saturday and won 28-9. Was def fun getting back out there hitting people with pads. I've done flag football leagues with friends for 4-5 years now but its just not the same as laying people out.

Playing for the Portland Monarchs who are one of the top ranked teams in the nation.

FUCK YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time for the Sabres to hoist the Stanley Cup!!!!!

J

Fuckin A right.

Let's go Sabres!

Thanks guys.............I'm Rooting as hard as I can from here till I get home.................REALLY hoping for a Coyotes Sabres Stanley Cup Series.

J

Been a Sabres and Bills fan all my life. Can't help it, I was raised in Buffaol.

hopefully they do better in championship games than Buffalo's other team

Last time the Sabres made the Stanley Cup we lost due to a rule change, done during the playoffs the public didn't hear about until after 'No Goal'.

J

Crease violation and actually it was changed the following year. Brett Hull, playing for the Stars scored the goal in triple overtime. I still have nightmares about it. He was clearly in the crease before the shot, but IMO the officials were so frikken tired they just gave the game away.

I'm from the southern Tier (Olean) and grew up a fan of the Sabres, Bills, and Yanks. No other way in my family.

J

No shit? I went to SUNY Alfred. My grandparents had a chunk of property in Philips Creek, just off the West Almond exit on 17, not terribly far from olean.

We used to fish at palmer's pond. I am sure if you know the area you know that. Their property was on the North Road, up in Almond. North Road started where they kept the large graters and plows right at the W Almond exit. It has been 20+ years since I was there last but i assume the storage building is still there.
