I know how you feel J.

It can be tough to ride things out. I made some choices that landed me here and I thought this is what I wanted/needed because I burned out working too much and too hard instead of intelegently. I also didn't realize at that time where my strengths were. Now in this new work climate I see what comes naturally to me. It's really bad when the majority of staff come to me over concerns and questions rather than take it up with leadership. What's worse is even though I can't change anything I can difuse the issue better than my leadership can even if our leadership completely resolves the concern. The lack of communication and resource management is just demoralising.

I'm trying to work through this here though and boning up on management reading, and general "self help" reading. Dale Carnigie etc. It's no so much that I need to learn the skills, but being refreshed and actively paying attention to these atributes is the single most important tactic in being successfull. Since I have no damn clue what I want to do for education warming up with some moral boosting reading is a great way to rev up the engines.

I'm working on getting back into College so I can get my degree. Its not going as quickly as I had hoped.

The problem with my job is how the leadership hierarchy is set up. We have one of the worst examples of a sewing circle and favoritism I have ever even heard of. I am anxious to get out, but honestly job security is a big thing for me. Until I have my degree, I have zero serious plans of leaving.

It is so retarded, a 26yo female should not be in pain worse than her 93yo grandmother when she moves.

Yes I agree. DO they have any ideas?

Not a fucking clue. The only thing that made her better was they gave her a weeks worth of steroids, then she was back to her normal old self. Other than that she hurts all day every day with achy joints and stomach problems.

Prolly not right here but have they tested her glands, gone cat scans, or checked her for sickle cell?

I know my ideas aren't the best but they may somehow help.

Crappy supervisors at work, getting f'ed over by political bull shit there tied in with being in varying levels of pain for the last 6+ months has let to a woman who is starting to get depressed. Its hard for me to do a damn thing about it since I can't do anything but be supportive. :(

As if pain wasn't enough...

Sorry to hear about crappy news :(

Damn dude............think a change of scenery might change how she feels?

I say this beacuse some people react very well to a change in air, elevation or other things.

Sore throat from drainage perhaps? If so, you'll get to keep it for nearly two weeks. Fucking sucks. The clinics around here are booked out a week because of it.

I haven't been sick for maybe 5-6 years. The biggest thing that hit me last was a leaky nose. :peepwall:
