If you live really close to the border, they have actual 4' x 8' road signs on the US side basically telling you not to transport food across the border unless is has been approved blah blah blah ... that's all I've been able to read over the past few years - always too busy keeping your goddamn eyes peeled for those state trooper / highway patrol pricks.
