Don't touch the cone though. Mine might not wear clothes, but they won't be in harms way. Supposedly SUPER fragile cone. :) Helps them reach.

i've noticed this. very very thin, surround is as well

Physicist with a minor in acoustics. Specialize in experimental structural measurements.

Ahhh!

I want to get some kind of solid idea of what i want to do in college..

And I know I won't grow out of audio what-so-ever so i feel like it's a natural choice to do... Any suggestions? I have a basic understanding of electrical concepts just because my dad is an electrical engineer. But anyways.. I really want to be able to design not only subwoofers but understand deeply into more advanced topics.

No money in speakers as an engineer. :( Although if there is a funded manufacturer here in the US, I've done something with them :P

Well Yeah.. I would take that as a minor or something (Since it's more of an interest)...

Maybe I'll just have to go with Electrical engineering? hmmm...

Have you thought about Mechanical or Chemical engineering?

Check into it. It might help you out long term as chemical engineering is highly viewed upon in my industry.

I am not saying these 2 are the best, Penn State main and Ohio State are 2 of the schools we visit for interns.

played with the cuisinart some more today; not only does it spew powder through the top, but also at the bottom, where the blade assembly is bolted to the vessel...so yes this is a major POS...*sigh*
