A Czech lager/pils. Not convnetional, but I don't like wheat beer so conventional wasn't happening.

The Wheat beers are generally to sweet for my palete.

The last good pilsner I drank was the Lion Imperial.

Speaking of pizza, the one thing I do miss about MN is Punch Neapolitan Pizza...

http://www.punchpizza.com/

I would say in my top 3 pizza places, this would be one of them.

Yep, that place is teh good. Very similar to what I make at home :)

Staropramen and Golden Pheasant don't fare all that well either and both are pretty darn spot on. Depending of course on how it was treated when it traveled. Makes me curious on the A's though if those are both B-.

And yep, wheat beers are too sweet. Way.

The Boulevard is nearly drinkable and everyone I know that likes wheats likes it. Amazing considering their other beers are crap.

Adrian, turn on M1 asap before the countdown is over!

I missed it :(

Was probably taking a shower then and hit the sack right after that.

I like their wheat beers, not a very big fan of everything else though.

Well then, that's my next mod. It's a top shifting gearbox and the T56 looks like a top shifting box too so I assume the design is similar.

I was curious about wear and tear because Hurst wants $200 for one and sometimes they float around used, which means a better deal.

It's only a bit notchy when cold, inherent with the AX15 from what I hear..but the throw is looong :)

If it's notchy when cold, change the trans fluid. That's what is causing that. You probably have a Synchromesh type fluid.

It already has Redline MT90 in it. After I got the jeep I went around changing all fluids and the stealership recommended 80w90 Castrol. Couldn't shift into second when it was cold. Changed it with Redline MT90 and everything was much better.

I'll probably give it a change soon, although it doesn't bother me too much.

The long throw sucks, when going up a long slope or a very muddy road and I want to shift up for more wheel-spin, I can't do it fast enough. So I either end up stuck or under-revved.

This is what I was drinking last night. VERY roasted tasting, with a hint of coffee. :)

I don't like it, not sure why it scored so well.

Honestly, I wasn't impressed either. Way to tart and dry for me, but I will try anything once or twice. Was no where near as foul as Guinness, which I think is the nastiest stout I have ever tryed. Also the reason I think most ppl think they don't like stouts.

My favorite stout still stands as the Lion Stout, but I am always searching. :)

I cannot drink wheat beer, it gives me a headache...same as coors and the like. Not sure why, but it does. I did manage to stumble upon some St. Pauli Girl Special Dark. I like it.

I will have to give it a try.

A dark lager I REALLY like is Negro Modelo. Yum, Yum. :)

Both sound interesting, I think I will try the Staropramen first.

Did you ever try the Eye of the Hawk, or any of the other Mendocino beers? :)
