Speaking of the W and her ride, I have a pic to share. She knew it would end up in the hop soon or later. hehe.

This is what happens when you let the wifey hook up the hitch. She learned alot that day. :)

I did something similar one time.

I has hauling my JD 318's and felt the truck get light and heard a loud crash, so with a red face I looked areound to see if anybody was looking.

I can't count how many trailer's I have hooked up, and haven't had it happen yet.

She was balling her eye's out. Mostly out of fear of me being mad, but I laughed from the first second it happened and said we better get it hooked back up before the storm in the background hits. :D This photo is at around 10k ft.

Speaking of trailer mishaps. I almost got my hang juiced between a snow groomer and a handy man jack. I was using the jack instead of the hydraulics on the groomer bc I was unhooking from a pickup instead of the Bombardier snow cat. Thank god I had thick insulated gloves on and a few friends near by.

killed myself on the treadmill, ate some lunch and thought it over, and I'm still liking the idea of selling the E55 and getting a boring commuter car :lol2:

Selling the E55

It's old, and rattly; it needs work, work that isn't covered under warranty and I'm terrified to tear into such a limited edition model, trying avoiding all but the most well paved streets is a major PITA, maintenance and fuel costs are more than I bargained for, keeping the leather properly cleaned conditioned is another PITA I would not miss

In hindsight I was a fool to buy it in the first place, but such is youth

noooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

:(

I can only imagine the supension difference is lightyears apart on the Mercades. I think they would be jaw breaking on a ricer. I never could figure out the 4x4's with 22's, etc on them, all about the bling I guess.

You'd be surprised how antiquated MB is. Hell, it's only been within the past 10 or so years that they've switched to rack and pinion steering.

I have already put 60k on the Honda in 2 yrs, I drive way to much.

I used to do more than that in a year...and then an aftermarket stereo was well worth while. :)

Speaking of, how are the TSA screenings? I think I would opt for the hand search, just for the free feel up.

If it were a woman that did the hand search I am more than fine with it.

I use the premium line and they don't really ever question me at all. Never even seen one of the machines in question.

Are you really sure that will save you anything?

Even mine is not up to par in that regard.

Tons of electronics, just not exactly anywhere near cutting edge. Of course, I'd be even more scared if it was.

Misspoke; not selling the E55, turning around and buying another car. Just selling the E55 and borrowing the truck for school commutes until sometime next year when I graduate.

We've only sunk 11 into the E55, including the 6 I received from Nationwide for Silver; according to every used car pricing guide I can find online its worth 12 trade in, so we would just about break even

You won't get anywhere near 12 in trade, probably lucky to pull 7 but you should be able to sell it for that. Definitely not a car a dealership wants ANY part of.

I will bet that it won't save anything. But sometimes it's about not having the hassle.

I'm more of the guy who doesn't mind lots of hassle as long as it is possible to fix.

Problem with old performance cars is though that you are better off buying the normal version and adding forced induction to get the power. Build your own ftmfw.

Boost cures all car related problems...

Can't plow my driveway. It's between a fence and my house so no where for snow to go.

I've been saving for a bobcat, but it's not in the cards.

I can do it with the backhoe :P

As long as it's wide enough for me to get in...

On my last job I had to level dirt around a new building. New fence on one side, new building on the other side. 20 inches clearance on each of the sides.
