How do I begin this fucked up shit. My amp got stolen......

I decided to buy a Sundown SAZ-2000D some months ago from a friend in America. He made me a good deal so I send the money through paypal and he ships the amp to a company that was going transport it from USA to Bulgaria. I've already bought a Hifonics amp through them(their business was to buy the thing you want from ebay.com and ship it to BG, because many won't ship directly and they got an office in the States). And there were many other people using their service at that time. The day I paid for the amp was Jan 13. That is almost 11 months ago. The amp was shipped to their place...........

nonono, I can't wrap my head around that shit. I'll continue later. Fucken pissed right now.

.... the amp was shipped to their place. We talked about how much shipping will be, when it's going to ship out and that sort of thing. Nothing out of the ordinary. Some weeks past, I try to contact too see what's up, do they have any info on the amp... Nobody pics up. I called...2, 3, 4 times a day, everyday. No one. I read on a forum that other people are having problems too. Waiting for their "stuff" just like me. No one can contact them, some got their things some don't. Then I decided send a threat SMS to the phone that doesn't pick up, about that I am going to the police, find you they are, where they live. Oh miracle, I get a call. The dude explains to me they are no longer in business, all their packages were delivered and he will see what's going on with my amp. Some more weeks past, I call him regularly, he is either out of the country or doesn't have any new info. I am studying for Uni, busy with some other things. Time passes by.... Then like 3-4 months ago he said he will have a friend that lives in the States coming to BG and will take the amplifier with him. Another month pass, the guy that is supposed to come still have some work to do in the States... Then a month ago he arrives here but the luggage with the amp is not here and will arrive soon. It arrived last Wednesday, but with the amp, a laptop, a guitar and some other stuff of his, gone. I called his MOM(the guy that came from USA left me a number to call his mom to ship me the amp, because he was leaving the country for some time) and asked "wtf, someone was supposed to call me and ask me for my address"( as with all my hope I was awaiting the amp to get shipped after he gets his luggage). And then the bad news, everything missing...

Now I am sending information to them on how much the amp was worth and hopefully I'll get my money back as they took responsibility. To be continued....

Good question, I'm interested too. My extra set is in bad condition and I'd love to show it some love...

It depends on what type of finish you are trying to restore.

Any kind of finish works for me, price will be the main factor. Black car but I don't want chrome. They will be my pavement wheels. Gunmetal gray ? Black ?

Winter mode

A bit more than 12" of fresh hardly plowed, thought I'd see how my snowboardish tires handled. I was okay, a bunch of fwd cars were stuck all over, but I can't wait for the snows. I "needed" to lift the air suspension up for clearance as there were huge drifts and unplowed areas everywhere.

Went on a trip today and could only heat up the oil to 160-170 on steep climbs. Water temp was lower than 210 and my oil themostat only opens around 200. So I guess everything is cool. I'll have to wait for summer to see how the cooler performs.

It depends on what type of finish you are trying to restore.

Any kind of finish works for me, price will be the main factor. Black car but I don't want chrome. They will be my pavement wheels. Gunmetal gray ? Black ?

Paint is easy. Surface prep is the key. If they are steel and rust free and the current finish is not flaking, simply scuff, clean, and paint. I have used typical enamel spray paint hundreds of times with great results. You'll have to keep up on them every two years or so, but it's cheaper than a couple hundred or more for a professional paint job.

If they are aluminum, it's pretty much the same. Just make sure you clean the aluminum well before painting. If there is any sort of corrosion on them, you will have to removed it, then use a metal filler over the damaged aluminum to level it, then paint as normal.

Thank you for the kind words, but allow me to explain something for better understanding about me.

Right now serving in Iraq I bring home about 1200 every two weeks, for a total of about 2400 a month.

This is after paying 500 a month on my truck (bad credit=rape on interest) and 455 on child support. So in total I bring home 3300 a month. This is while serving in a 'tax free' )aka no state or fed tax but still paying social security and other shit) combat zone. I also make 'combat zone' pay which isnt even an extra 500 a month. I also am saving the 900 a month figured into the monthly pay that should be paying for my house. I am fortunate, my wife is deployed (she is a soldier as well) over here with me. If she was back home I assure you my checks would be less and more money would be being used to pay bills at home.

I hate to sound like a Toby Keith song, but I dont do this job for the money, or anything else I do it beacuse I love my job. I may not like the people I work with (most of the time) and I may not like some of the extra rules we have to follow, but I will be damned if I am going to quit.

I'll update you guys more later and what my plans are. Some may pan out but due to my prior fuck ups, they may not.
