Trying to get my transcripts is proving to be tough....why are people in positions where they have to interact with other people so pucking lame. I told the lady my email address 5 times...and I think she still has it wrong. Time to call and yell (I mean, speak in a calm but assertive voice) at this idiot again.

lol

I missed the part where you said you knew we would tell you not to!

 I read right over it. Selective reading. My bad.

But seriously... don't.

:D:D:D

Er'....its a gift for me, so I am trying not to be to picky. My logic is get the craptastic block set I have now replaced for everyday use. Then I will invest in my own 10+" Chefs knife for when I am in the kitchen. This will keep the kids off my knifes.

understood. My wife and roomate don't use my knives unless I hand it to them actually.

I do appreciate the advice, don't think it was in vein. I now have something to set my sites on for personal knifes. Sounds like it should be well thought out purchase.

I also want a wood cutting board but the W keeps telling me the wood will hold germs. I have a glass one now.

I thought that glass cutting boards were bad for knifes. Maybe I was wrong.

Did I share my Bacon Wrapped Turkey pictures here, I don't remember...

I like plastic but you have to throw them away after awhile

wood boards you can sand down and refinish when they get worn; I still have the one I made freshman year of high school

Thank goodness someone else doesn't either. I've spent my entire life not worrying about germs and I rarely get sick.

Dinner last night was great.

I wish i have more heat for my steaks to sear but they still came out good. I think I only have enough heat to really do one steak at a time. Oddly, the bigger steak came out more done than the smaller steak. Worked out well as we just switched some of the portions.

Au Gratin Potatoes were creamy and excelent. The sauce was so creamy and good and the sharp cheddar was great.

Green beans were good, would have been great with better timing though, by sauteing the mushrooms at a better time.

Finished dinner with some of the gf's pumpkin cheesecake with swirled chocolate on homemade crust. and watched Boondock Saints. :D
