in case you'd rather have wild game for Thanksgiving ^^^

Interesting. Lots of places around here for game. Can't say that I've ever seen boar though.

There are bison, elk, beefalo farms within a 30min drive that all sell direct to the public. Normally I just stock up at the local farmers markets though as I don't really feel the need to drive out to the farm. Being I am hosting Turkey it made me want to find something real to eat in that regard as well.

I do get my beef & pork straight off the farm as well. Not sure why I never thought of poultry. I am now, just wish that the internet & farmers were more coincident as it would make it easier.

If you can get your hands on wild turkey (no not that Wild Turkey), I highly recommend it :)

CTS-V vs BMW M5

If I was smaller I would want the caddy. I think it looks really "guido" or however you spell that. The dealer I went to had one fully loaded for ~$67k. That's a lot less than the BMW. I don't know which would be cheeper to repair.

Used market... well... I think the BMW drops so violently so fast, that it's probably the better buy there. If I blow an engine on either I would cry but the Bimmer would cost more to replace I would guess. The GM crap just has a vette engine with a blower.... so I'm guessing it wouldn't be too much to fix.

What you can tell instantly thought is the BMW is made better. I have no idea how they drive though. Either will blow my hair back however.

Final word though is this, would I rather be seen in and walk to and see a GM or BMW?

BMW by a large margin.

:guido:

Speaking of Turkey. I do a bacon wrapped turkey. I brine that bitch, wrap it in bacon (thick cut), bake and baste it for a few hours. OMFG, it is so good. I did a 12lb. bird last year and that shit was gone before I could get 2nds. I will look to see if I still have pictures of it.

I got an interview with Union Pacific, hell ya!

:jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump:

I got so excited when I got the phone call. I go in on Tuesday, they said plan the whole day to stay there.

It is a union job, I am not much for unions after seeing how the Mechanics for Northwest got rapped by theirs, but hell, some unions actually work to make better environments for the employees. Starting pay is decent, more then what I was making and I will also be able to work on getting my apprentice and journeyman electrician stuff out of the way.

Unions NEVER make for a better work enviroment in todays world. Unions are not what they once were.

Either way congrats! It's an upward move either way.

and no yours(not you X-Ovr directly, but anyone who is in contest with this statement) is not some special snowflake version.

The only thing the modern union helps is the union.

They certainly don't help who they represent.

I supose if you have a union with no official board and no dues, possibly...
