Its all the years of abuse catching up with me. ie moshing, car wrecks, work injurys, etc

I had to switch from building houses to full time tattooing after the second time I injured my hip. NOW sitting in a chair to long fucking ruins me.

Seriously though, I need to get some new all season shoes on the Honda, I am thinking the Goodyear Eagles. Anyone have any experience with these tires in snow ? OR any other comments on these tires or another recommendation for a tire? I am looking for a VERY queit tire is why I am interested in the GYs, and assume they will wear well and last.

Tough one there. I am not really a fan of GY in general, but have no idea what is available in your size tires. Hard to find what is "quiet" as well.

We had Pirelli P6000's on the VW, they wore like iron and quiet but on snow they sucked so bad the car felt like a luge...

I am thinking the Michelin Harmonys are looking like the winner. I had the Harmonys on another car before and was happy with them. I just need a well behaved tire with long treadwear.

The GYs kept coming up when I searched quiet tires, but I think the Michelins will have them beat hands down.

I am sure the P6s peform well, but they are summer tires and probably wear quick due to the softer compound.

Get some winter tires. Once you drive a vehicle with the proper tires for winter, you will never again get an all season tire.

My opinion on Goodyear is the same as Chrysler. Utter junk. Every Goodyear tire I've owned has been the worst. I wouldn't even use them for a burnout contest.

Making an offer on a car tomorrow, but am sure they will say no. And no, not sharing until I get a yes & it checks out. Happens to be in a city where I have some employees and one of them is a car guy so he is checking it out for me. Major win if they say yes, but I really doubt it. And again NO, you can't know what it is until I have an answer.

I had the Michelin pilot hx mxm4 (on the factory 17's) on my 2007 Honda Civic Si...they handled very well with no issues in snow/ice conditions , but are a little pricey. They handled extremely well overall and they had a very smooth ride quality with absolutely no road noise whatsoever. I was driving at 3 am in Chicago winters on the way to work; ...where there was nothing on the road at that hour but my Honda, 4x4's, and snow plows.

So for work whatever I buy needs to be warrantied. Considering I am shopping for cars that will not be under factory warranty for the whole time my lease would exist this means buying an aftermarket warranty. Besides the dealerships (which I have called already ) where else would you look for a warranty? I have tried the appropriate model forums, but that is sort of like searching for SPL on here and not very effective.

Year One and Fidelity have come up many times as aftermarket choices, but of course I have the balance to deal with. The more $$ the warranty is the less $$ I can spend on the car. If I didn't have to have it I wouldn't, but not my choice. Part of me wants to start a company and offer one to my company therefore mitigating the risk off of them and onto me, but that is probably more work than it is worth.

That being said, I'd love to not pay the dealer price on the warranty as it may really improve what I can afford. Any ideas?
