Sean, I know you know a bit about washing machines. I hate mine.

I know front loader. After that what do you think? I know we talked once, but I'm freaking out.

Anyone can respond of course... Also anyone know about videocameras?

I haven't looked recently, but had a Whirlpool Duet at my last house and it was great.

What are you using the video camera for? Thought about a DSLR + Video option?

I have an EOS from cannon in digital. I'm not sure if it does video, but unless it can do at least 30 min at a time I wouldn't be happy. I'm going to be filming a wedding for a friend, and I have wanted a video camera for a LONG time. I would really desire 1080 or better for video. Having high speed functionality would be really great too but I don't want to spend too much. I htought about getting another digital SLR and going that route it's just hard to justify it.

Good camera's aren't cheap on either end. You already have lenses for your EOS...so

or things like

Price isn't so different and getting anything cheaper won't really do so well.

I answered your poast MK.

I'm not exciting with guac though. I should add a technique though and thats smash the avo's. Maybe with a morder and pestle or some other similar method. I use that or the back of a spoon and then add my mixins' and fold them in.

I've thought about selling my video camera and DSLR and buying a newer DSLR with video. Just carrying one piece of gear ftmfw.

I have an avocado tree in my back yard, it produces some good eats.

I use a fork to smash mine up. Then my recipe goes depending on my mood. Usually either a little mayo or sour cream, garlic, season salt, tomato, cilantro and a pepper of my liking. Guac is so versatile and simple to make.

Also I would need to have audio recording if I only used a DSLR. I keep forgetting that part when I think about that as an option.

no doubt.... It's really hard to justify 2 DSLR's

That is why I'd sell one.

Sean when you say one of those you mean the DSLR T2i?

I believe 2 of the guys had those and 2 had 7D's. Nearly the same thing though.

Video cameras aren't that expensive.

To take film at low light of a wedding they are. Optics ain't cheap.

I agree that 9.5 times out of 10 with today's DSLR cams there really isn't a point in getting a nice camcorder and a nice camera

True, but in that aspect a real video camera is going to be a significant improvement over any DSLR from what I understand. All the movies/tv shows that are shot with DSLR *cough* House *cough* is more of a publicity stunt and requires a TON more post processing than a real video camera. But I've gotten off topic and the real intention of the discussion.

Kinda depends on what you want to do with it.
