I'm pretty sure I just managed to catch a bag of popcorn on fire.....literally, on fire. Entire kitchen is filled with smoke, almost have to stop, drop & roll to make it through the room without coughing.

Worst part: I don't want popcorn anymore :( It sounded soooo good, until I melted the shit to my microwave and filled my kitchen with the not-so-sweet smell of burnt fucking corn.

Dammit!

Yeah you have to shake it after a minute or so.

You can make your own pop corn in-a-bag

Pour the popcorn in the paper bag and fold the top of the bag over twice to close. (Each fold should be 1/2 inch deep; the kernels need room to pop.) Seal the bag with two staples (no more, no less), making sure to place the staples at least 2 to 3 inches apart.

Put the bag in the microwave and cook on high power for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the pops are 5 seconds apart.

Remove the bag from the oven and open it carefully, avoiding the steam. Pour the popcorn into a bowl and drizzle it with butter, then toss with salt and cheese, if desired.

Done that when we don't have store bought popcorn. cheap to, few cents lol.

A Taurus 357 magnum tracker 4" barrel Stainless 7-shot

Nice gun and quite accurate and not to much kick for a 357

A city program to introduce possums to Brooklyn as rat killers has apparently backfired and now, according to the Post, "some Brooklynites have become terrified to go into their yards at night."

I went on one when I was like 10. I think exploring everything yourself would be a lot more fun than doing everything on a schedule and sleeping in a mobile hotel.

Some of the best family vacations I have had have been on a cruise. I try and take the family on a cruise every year. Believe it or not if you know how to book they are very inexpensive.

there's just something about swimming in a saltwater pool aboard a 200,000,000+ pound boat in the middle of the ocean that kind of makes me go cross-eyed

normally I would advocate piling in the car and roadtripping to Mexico as a vacation but uh....that's not such a good option right now...

Not a fan of the pools myself, but to watch peoples reactions "that it is really saltwater" is priceless.

Mexico is a great place to visit too, been there a couple of times on vacation and once to close a plant that we purchased.

I became good friends with a booking agent for Carnival, she advises me baised on how many cabins I am booking. Sometimes during the low season you can get below cost bookings which is my favorite time to go. Less kids running around misbehaving and acting like idiots.

The gf and I just popped up an idea to go to Hawaii sometime, neither of us have been. Looked it up and the offseason (I think it said september-early december) actually has the best weather. Most people go when the weather is the most rainy- during the winter. Deals are so much better in the offseason. We thought of going on a cruise before. She has been on a couple and really liked them, I've never been on one. But there are different cruises, not every one schedules everything for you.

A friend's car has 2 faulty switches in a module...the dealer wants an arm and a leg for the whole module. We find the switch manufacturer and find one of the switches in their parts catalog but the company doesn't want to sell us the switch claiming the project is customer protected...

Why do they still keep the part in the catalog if they don't want to sell it ?
