What is your preferred method of reheating Sean?

Depends on the target.

Either in a pan, in the oven, or in a steamer. NOTHING heats up right in a microwave.

Occasionally I use a hot water bath as well, but that is more heating than reheating.

DO you use one of those smaller convection ovens? I would hate having to heat up the damn oven for a meal plate.

Ha, I don't even have a convection oven period. Hell, I have a 1974 GE piece of shit that is a double oven, but it is also DAS BROKE.

Contemplating buying one of these though:

If I do it will be instead of the second oven. Not sure if I can live with it being so small on the inside though. That and the price tag of course. Adding a convection oven to that puts me WAY over budget, but long term I think I'd really like it. Having steam on hand to crisp bread is definitely worth $2 everytime I use it. Adding moisture to other things I cook would be sweet as well, but I am having a hard time putting a value on it.

I never have an issue reheating stuff, but I won't just throw anything in the mic. I'm not a fan of left overs either, but I only cook for myself and Gavin, so I have left overs no matter what.

Worked a 10 hour day in the elevator today and I've worked a total of 101.5 hours in the last 11 days (including 2 off days)...

What do you use the mic for ALL the time then?

Oatmeal, certain vegetables (steam bags), hot dogs, whatever left overs I feel will actually work in there, for instance, tonight I heated up a plate of roast I cooked yesterday along with the veggies, rice, warming my brownies; I ALWAYS have fresh brownies. . . Etc. . .

I would never use it to cook something, and I never use it for poultry or pork.

on the vehicle note

in the next year or 2 I plan on buying a Tacoma Crew Cab Long bed

probably be around the 08' model or so

I still got alot more research to do, I did do a lil that's when I found out that the nissan frontier doesn't have a crew cab long bed anymore. Am i correct in my findings?

Why a mini man truck? If you're looking for some kind of dune hopping thingy I guess it might make sense.

Buy your flavor of american well made and low cost to fix pick 'em ups :coughFORDcough:. If there is something the US knows how to do it's make a GD pickup truck.

I dunno man. I will look into it but i doubt i will go full size, i just really don't know right now. I plan to make the purchase probably in ~2 years or so.

Just looking at my options. The only thing i have to pull right now is my lil 16' john boat, that also needs to be fixed as well...

FORD My 250 never gave me problems is good truck just not on gas

thats the one thing i want some decent gas mileage.

but with a truck i know its a losing battle

A good friend of mine gets 21 MPG in his f-350 and he DRIVES hard. No stoplight racing but hauls on the highway and tows at least 2 times a week. Sure it's deisel but that's 6 more MPG than I get in the expedition.

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 6' Bed 4.8L

Mileage 14/19

Payload 1875

Towing 6700

Chevrolet Colorado Extended Cab 6' Bed 3.7L

Mileage 17/23

Payload 1741

Towing 5579

Ford F-150 SuperCab 4x2 6' Bed 4.6L 3v

Mileage 15/21

Payload 1680

Towing 6800

Ford Ranger SuperCab 4x2 6' Bed 4.0L

Mileage 15/21

Payload ????(Can't Find Info)

Towing 5940

Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4x2 6' Bed 4.6L

Mileage 15/20

Payload 1535

Towing 8100

Toyota Tacoma Access Cab 4x2 6' Bed 4.0L

Mileage 17/21

Payload 1415

Towing 6500

I just dont really know at this point guys. I got a lil while to think about it.

I know for one it wont be a diesel and wont be over a 1500, and i dont know about the ford aspect... never been a ford guy...

Also my needs are to pull small boat, and move some things.

Love my microwave and use it ALL the time.

You shouldn't. You are going to grow a third testicle.

That means more baby gravy to squirt on a bitches face :gayhaaay1:

Interesting, I find it VERY strange you won't do poultry or pork but you reheat roast. The mic kills beef quick.

I can also see a difference here. I don't buy instant anything, if its oatmeal I am using raw oats, veggies don't come frozen in my house (except peas), and I don't eat hot dogs. I like the always having fresh brownies :)

Sean IMHO I would say to him 'Tell ya what lets have another mechanic look it over. IF they dont find the EXACT same 3 issues u pay full price for the car. If they do I'll shave 600 off the price to cover 1/2 the repairs.

J

I like the way you think, but it would waste $200 finding them and he'd prep them so they would. Even still he needs to just suck it up and pay for it. That part isn't negotiable.

Fuckers, some people don't understand cars have an age...

Bushings are a bit worn, if he wants a new car he should buy a new car.
