Looks clean!!! I bet its fun to drive? Are those 35"s?

Yep, they measure more 33.5-34 now. They are old and REALLY need changing but I don't have the cash for it right now. I really want to step up to a bigger rim so I can have less back spacing and have the tires not stick out so far.

I plan on swapping my 33 x 12.5 x 16.5 BFG's all terrains from my old 77' ford to the new 94' ford truck, BUT I will have to get a lift kit first to make them fit. I won't be using the older truck for now (thinking truggy) and the BFG tires are on aluminum rims and only have like a 1000 miles on them, if that. The 33's and rims will make the 94' F250 look good.

I am looking at a 2.5" suspension lift kit right now, which will cost about the same as new tires. (NO BODY LIFTS) PLUS the 94' has pretty saggy springs on it right now, SO buying the lift kit and new shocks to fit the tires I already own will actually kill two birds with one stone.SWEET!!!!! I love it when things work out like that.

I have a Pioneer deh-P4700mp HU and some type-r SPR-17S 6.5's I already own also SO I won't have to buy that stuff. SWEET!!!! I love it when things work out like that. There isn't much room for a subwoofer SO I am planning on building a center console with a 10" sealed firing down. I Think that will be perfect for my needs and I think it will sound good with the sub so centrally located.

I took pictures of the new truck and the tires for you guys BUT I dropped the camera at my friends that stores my vehicles, SO you guys will have to wait.smile.gif

Matt, so how much of the corn sugar and nectar should I consume post ride?

Maltodextrin? 60 grams

and 30 grams of protein from nectar. (should be a scoop and a half)

lol, have to go look. I just ordered whatever you linked :P

Awesome I think I linked dextrose. Either way start with 60 grams sugar and 30 grams of protein.

2:1 carb to protein. See how it feels. You're a pretty in touch with your body kinda guy. From there you can fine tune the ratio or amounts. You're so tall I wouldn't be shocked if you could slam more with no problems.

If you have questions ask away, I'll do all I can to help you troubleshoot or fine tune. You will see some big results just from adding this though. And of course you know to stay hydrated.

One word of advice is that these fast digesting sugars and proteins will make your body kick into over drive, so you may be ravenous 30 min after you're done pedaling and have slammed the drink. Avoid Fatty food for an hour as it will slow down your bodies over drive.

Definitely Dextrose. 60g sugar, 30g Nectar, and no fat for an hour ought to be easy. Normally I sweat and am in pain for at least 30min and then it takes me another 30 to figure out what to make and do it. :)

If only that fix worked for women.

No doubt.

The only trick I have found is to make then make the oOOooooOoooh OOooh sound. Eddie Murphy was right. You can pretty much do anything then.

FML.

This is going to be the week from hell and I need more intelligent group partners. I'm f'ing tired of doing most of the work myself because they either can't write or don't know wtf they are doing.

Photo of said creation. It is a friction tester machine for a company that handles bulk materials. It is for measuring the pull out force for taking a slice out of a column. They are looking for the data to extrapolate to different hoppers for different materials. The model is v3.0 prototype.

Have a presentation to the company on this on Thursday evening. Oh, and we had a month for this semester long project because the relations with the company we had before fell through (not our doing).

What is the goal of the machine?

I read pull out force, but do you know what they are going to do with the information? Only interested in peak?

Learned yesterday that one of the guys around my age from back home died last weekend. He crashed his truck on a dirt road on Saturday, they found his body in a creek on Monday morning.

Never even liked the guy, but not a good deal. Never a good thought that a guy wrecks on a Saturday and is found on a Monday in a creek. I don't know how many miles I've put on dirt roads and done crap I shouldn't have throughout the years, but its a lot.

They don't know what they want. Hence the problem.

As far as I know they want the initial force to push the slider out, and then the running force to continue pushing. We are doing this by using a servo and lead screw assembly. The total test will take ~30sec to run, the load cell/software has a 150hz refresh rate, which (in theory) will give a new data point ever .00080" of travel which I imagine will be enough for what we are doing here. (The company is K-Tron Premier)

In reality, they wanted something along these lines with a small budget, short time, and here it is. They don't even have this damn thing built yet, haven't ordered the load cell, I have no clue how well it even physically works.

Once they have this data for a range of materials they want to look and see what kind of hoppers/flow designs for for the materials and be able to test a new material and get a pretty good idea using this test data as one of their parameters as to what they need to look at for hopper/flow designs on the new system. They handle everything, aluminum shavings, corn flakes, dried peas, cement powder, etc.

I'm a little pissed that we don't have more time for this. I'd like to get it running, get a shit ton of data, get someone to run some statistical analysis on it to find if it is truly repeatable and then be able to give them something that actually works, or give them a plan on how to fix it. I don't like giving them something that I don't know works, and isn't completed.
