The tank is down and the fish are at their new homes :woot: I am ready for bed, forgot how huch work goes into taking down a reef tank.

feels good to check it off the list I bet!

Sure does, now I am getting ready to gut the dining and living rooms. They are the only rooms I have not redone and need some insulation.

This is what it looked like a couple of days ago. 300 lbs of rock giant clam, 34lbs we weighed it and some fish. I sold off the corals about 2 years ago. Now I just needs to sell the tank, stand, and hood. Any takers close?

I think he's talking about a Term Lab Sean. So it's not really a mic it's a sensor.

Definitely not a real mic then either. Nor very accurate, but that is another story.

A carpet will eat a clam. It happen in my tank a few years ago :)

Are you talking alge or carpet to different things I can deal with carpet but alge(fungus) no thank you, ruins a good clam.

So the "official" mics they use in those competitions aren't even accurate?

To get a truly accurate dB reading at those levels you need a nearly $10k hydrophone, not necessary for the task at hand as no one cares for absolutes anyways.
