sooo looking forward to pics and review

u will...lol...

u will...

the enclosure i build will hold the funky pup afterwards for the boy to put on his bookshelf stereo...so i might go about .25ft^3 sealed at first...

anyone tell me what i need to make a lowpass x-over..say about 120hz??? i know a coil..but what coil and where do i find it?

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee slayer.gif

anyway you could build a 0.17 cube one so we can see how it sounds in recomended volume?

let me find the equation for a simple x-over

*

according to my equation, you need a 5.3 milliHenry coil to get a First Order crossover at 120 Hz on a 4 ohm load

that's just for a first order slope, i forget what it is in dB/Octave... 6 perhaps?

if you want steeper, you need more parts

im sure you can get that size inductor somewhere online
