is gas in canada expensive too? I cant even fill u pmy tank here in socal. My credit card cuts me off at $50 when I could use $60 +

Here it is:

94.9 cents/liter for 87 (conversion works out to $2.93/gallon)

104.9 cents/liter for 92 (conversion works out to $3.25/gallon <-- retarded)

Amazing, drive 4 hours to the south, cross the border, and the gas drops instantly to $2.20/gallon.

7 minute drive to the closest gas station across the border for me :) That includes the drive to the border ...

It's definitely worth it. The arseho who runs the place tried to jack the prices up only for Canadians, until he realized he was actually making money because his store is in the middle of nowhere and people were actually buying gas from him.

I'm convinced the premium gas down there is better than the premium gas up here - even though the same bloody truck probably delivered to both places

No one accounts for inflation.

Current gas prices adjusted for inflation and cost of living versus the GDP show that gas is CHEAPER NOW then it was in the late '70s & early '80s.

We are going to use it no matter waht, we are addicted to it and our lives do revolve around it in far too many ways to list... and really, is $0.04/gallon going to cost you that much more or less? I fill up ~every 2 weeks, so that would be $16.64 per year - $998.40 over the next 60 years............ [/rant]

Sorry, not aimed at You, Kent.

It's the additives that make the difference. "Noco" & "Mom&Pops Gas Shop" get the same petrol... it's the respective additives that make the performance, emissions, cost, etc... differences.

does this mean anything to you guys "So,I quess you do not believe in the $ curve vs. imax curve in proportion to the relative square sin of the x max wave?" Am I an idiot or is that jibberish? If you wanna see the context chek out this thread I made http://bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=343469

How dare he try to speak down upon the LMT  :bartmoon:

Useless post on his part. The technology is great, however, I personally do not feel the performance offsets the large price tag. The BL may be flatter and the distortion less than that of the XBL^2 drivers, but it is more expensive, not practical in DVC configurations, and (at this time) cannot be implemented into smaller drivers. And as far as the outrageous excursion goes, I'd venture to say 90% of purchasers never use the drivers to their full potential anyways. AS of this moment, XBL^2 wins. Give the LMT technology time though and it may be right there alongside.
