The blood work from my physical came back good. I have low cholesterol, it's like 132. They didn't break it down into good and bad cholesterol, which I wish they did. My brother said he has low good cholesterol and that he thinks it runs in our family. But my red blood cell count is a tad low as well. Not sure why.

But they said I may need to see an audiologist because the hearing test they did wasn't so good. Apparently my hearing starts rolling off decently under 1khz. But I think their test room was bogus. It was just a little telephone booth that was supposed to be soundproof, but wasn't. I could hear a number of mechanical grumbles. Plus their headphones sucked, they were just little things with a little bit of foam. I easily could not have had them in all the way. I'm not saying I may not have some hearing loss in low frequencies, I'm sure I do from this stereo stuff. I just don't think it's as severe as they think it is.

That was a bogus test. The booth should have an audible 'sealing' sound as the door closes. The head phones should be like a studio set that fits TIGHT over your ears. I have done shitty tests before and they said I had some issues. Took the test on base in a proper booth and no issues at all.

J

I know nobody cares, but I just broke in to the top 10,000 over all BOINC Distributed computing crunchers world wide. Apparently there is 1.9 million users world wide, so it is a fairly nice milestone. :woot:

Mark has donated some of his computing power and it has been a big help. I would love to see if handful of other SSA people could donate some of their unused processor cycles towards great causes like medical research, disease research, nano magnetic engineering, deep space mapping, quantum chemistry, protein folding, microscopic lattice evolution, prime number searches, artificial intelligence, and so on.

:)

i completely forgot about doing this. get me the info to get this set up, i got quite a bit of spare power lol....

You have a PM sir. :)

you won't miss the AMG power as much as you will miss the AMG seats.

=)

It's a great car though. Is it the one a BMW off 494?

Went to Sears. E550 AWD. The power was fine, car was sort of boring to drive compared to the 550i but I expected that. The advantage for me is not spending an extra $50/mo on snow tires and rims as it is AWD. I don't think I can do it though, I much prefer the interior in the BMW's and the 550i just drives more my style. I do think from the experience though that an E63 would more than satisfy me.

Have to get the truck up for sale and then see which will fit the lease right and start to work on getting one. :)

I am uncomfortable letting anyone from the outside world anywhere near my network. Love the cause, but not the security loophole. I am sure it is secure, I just don't like big brother in any aspect and the possibility of it not being secure has me insecure.

This morning I tried to buy this, but it had been walloped on.

Final Price 2007 Polaris IQ 600 CFI Cleanfire not carb

Damn, I wanted a new sled for the tour this weekend. Going to ride from basically my house to Brainerd to stay in a hotel and then ride back on Sunday. `~100mi in a car, but I am sure we'll add 50+ to that on the sled, perhaps more. Gonna be a hoot.
