is it strange I look at creatures and wonder "hmmm, I wonder what that tastes like?"

I'd say it would be strange if you didn't.

Setting here with my 2 best friends Jerry and Morgan.

Does Jerry ever kick morgan in the bean bag and then send his sorry @$$ packing?

I am not sure, but I sometimes mix them together. 100 proof morgan and jerry with limes and a little sprite.

.....and I just pwned the HOP!

Where have you been?

I work 4 x 10's.

When I'm home it's hard for me to post here. I have so many projects. I don't do any of them, but I end up staying real busy procrastinating.

Cable guy came over yesterday. I wasn't thinking about that as I had all of our guns out to clean.... So while doing laundry and dishes I dropped everything so I could pack up and put away everything. I didn't want to freak the guy out when he came in and saw assault rifles pistols and a shot gun with a few thousand rounds of ammo.

Then I humped it all back out to find out that I don't have anny hoppes. X_X

I was pissed.m But I did get the action on the pump working again. It was seizing while loading shells for some reason.

negotiated for HD cable HBO for the Wifey, a DVR, and faster cable for < what I was paying. It's still not as good of a deal as a Dish service, but I would rather have one bill. An extra few bucks is ok by me so when I call back in 6 months I can negotiate stronger saying I'm a total package customer.

I'm also sad as I think the bulb in the PJ is going. A faint red spot when there is no image on screen has showed up... it's one of the signs.

:(:(:(

Waiting on 10 am to buy the wife and her friends Daughty tickets. I think I pissed her off when I told her I could fart in their faces for free, as I am sure it would have the same affect ;)

it's on as background noise. 90% of the time it's food network, DIY, Discovery, g4 or travel.

Some USA, TNT, & SPIKE for CSI NCIS marathons that are on every day

It may not be as good a deal but when you factor in that the feed doesn't go out in a rain storm I'd say its worth it ;)

Good point. Her parents don't loose it in the rain or snow on the otherhand. At least not enough to notice. They are about 2 miles away.

I only care about highspeed intarwebz. Cable is the winnar here now.

Being a dog lover I give these two a ..... trink40.gif

Dog is rescued after being found frozen to road

40dd2c1a-0e2a-11df-8c83-001cc4c03286.preview-300.jpg?_dc=1264915650 buy-photo.gif Levi Harrington of Jamestown poses Jan. 26 with Shelby, an 87-pound bulldog mix dog he and Jordan Stutsman rescued from the elements on Jan. 22. The dog was found frozen to the ground and partially covered with snow. Shelby may lose part of its skin due to frost bite.

JAMESTOWN — As freezing rain and snow came down and road conditions became worse by the hour, Shelby, a 6-year-old bulldog mix, lay frozen to a road near Pipestem Reservoir.

Levi Harrington and his friend Jordan Stutsman were alerted to the dog after Levi’s father, a blade operator, spotted it on the same road for two days.

The minimum-maintenance road is rarely traveled. Harrington said it is the same road where he runs with his 2-year-old German shorthair, D.J.

After circling the road on Jan. 22, searching with his truck’s headlights, Harrington spotted “a clump of snow,” and found Shelby covered with ice and stuck to the gravel, lying on her left hind leg.

Harrington and Stutsman warmed the dog’s icy underbelly with their hands until Harrington was able to lift the 87-pound canine into his truck.

“I just have a big heart for dogs,” he said.

Once back at his shop he started to phone friends until he reached Whitney John, daughter of Prairie Paws Rescue co-founder Kaye John.

Prairie Paws helps animals in need by providing them with care, food and temporary foster homes until they can find permanent owners. John and fellow Prairie Paws co-founder Becky Johnson found a foster home for Shelby.

“All of her energy was used to keep herself alive,” John said.

Shelby was treated for frostbite on Monday but the extent of her injuries were not yet fully known, Johnson said.

“There’s going to be some long-term medical treatments for the frostbite,” she said.

Shelby’s treatment in Jamestown included scrubbing the exposed areas of her belly, antibiotics to prevent infection and a cooling spray to provide comfort, Johnson said.

By looking at Shelby’s right-rear leg, Johnson was able to see that the dog recently had surgery. After checking with area veterinarians, she found an ID for the dog and an old owner who had to give her away when she moved to California, Johnson said.

The old owner also gave the name of the person to whom she gave Shelby. Johnson would not provide the person’s name.

Harrington said he believes Shelby was intentionally left outside because the road she was found on is so remote and unused. Johnson said there is no proof the dog was abandoned.

“You want to give them (animals) the same respect you’d give a person because they bring comfort in so many ways,” Johnson said.

The old owner was moved to tears about the status of her dog and sent someone to pick Shelby up and bring her to California, Johnson said.

“She hopefully won’t have to worry about frostbite again,” John said.
