E34 M5 "body" and engine (and gearbox I think), tubular chassis, the owner wants to hit the 1000hp mark and 9 seconds in the quarter.

Funny to see an american rear axle in a local project.

Is that a Ford 9" in that rear end?

By the looks of it it is, hence my comment below the pic :)

The owner said it's a "custom made 40 spline axle, ordered from the us". Me thinks it's just a well trussed 9 inch housing.

At teh woman's parents house. I think her dad got kinda ticked at me for beating him all night on the Nintendo Wii.

the korean's father took it well when I whipped his ass. He spoke very little english but I could hear cocky in his voice (her parents play the wii sports pack all the time like the jo koy skit). We played tennis and as I was handing his ass to him he kept bitching in korean to his wife.

I really need another foreign chick, the family interaction cannot be beat

We don't have any 9" rear ends, but we do have a couple of Dana 60's laying around.

Hmmm, Dana 60 you say...might have to keep that in mind in case I ever want 35's on the Jeep :D

You need to find a local place where it's only mexican guys. They will have one dude who speaks ~some~ english and the rest just work on cars. You can bring in your own online ordered parts and they will charge about 100 bucks for anything.

Here in the twin cities there are no better places to take your car. They know more practical knowledge about tune ups and basic repair than ever other tech who works in a chain shop combined. I wouldn't ask them to tune up an Enzo, but if my Ford pickup/SUV needs some love they will have that shiz done in 15 min and they might throw in a new transmission and some beans and rice on the way out for under 100 bucks.

Words of wisdom!

I was out with some friends last night and I had a guy tell me his three 12" JLs on 900 watts could hit "roughly" 230 dB. Doh.gif

After a little convincing, I finally was able to get him to admit it was probably 130 he saw on the meter. He was a little drunk so that may have played a part in his slip, but I had a good time laughing about it. tongue.gif

If you want it to take power, that's a good choice.

You and me both, Spring is my favorite season since it warms up and then it leads into Summertime (nothing but fun and girls in shorts and dresses:woot: )

i really didn't mind the winter a couple weeks ago because we rarely got snow plus the temp was an average 30-40 degrees so it wasn't to bad but now it's in the mid teens at the highest
