I doubt you'll need to go that far though as I think our bug potential is WAY higher.

*by think I mean KNOW

probably, bugs aren't too much of an issue around here until the lovebugs come out, then all hell breaks loose

normally I just pre rinse like Aaron does, but I went ahead and tried the dish soap on top of that followed by a wash/wax combo (because I'm feeling really fucking lazy today :lazy: ); works beautifully on the buggies, and boy does she shine good, even considering it is 10 year old paint

No polish?

not unless you want to come down here and do it for me :lazy:

$30,000 for a tire set you change every 2,500 miles, $50,000+ every 10,000 miles to change the wheels AND tires, and an annual servicing causing $20,000 is just loopy, rich bitch or not

Sounds like a bargain for all the thrills and excitement you can have.

For bleeding edge speed and tech, it's actually kinda cheep.

if I wanted to go faster than 150 on a regular basis I'd just buy a helicopter

^------

do want Ultimate plug in.

TQ through the whole rev range perfectly flat. 10 min refuel.

If they got rid of the ricer graphics package it would look a LOT better:

Paint is cheep! I could pay for the paint at a real shop and not use my buddy for how much I would save in gas in one year.

:D

Two of my all time favorite cars. If I was King Midas or something and had crazy loot but only owned these two cars, I would drive the F1 on the weekends and the Veryon during the week. You know, in case it rained on the way to work, need that AWD. :tehe:

I'd like to play with a Veyron for maybe a weekend or so then go back to a real car

I have a hard time with that

for me a real car has as few compromises as possible; the Bugatti (hell any supercar for that matter) just has too many compromises for me to consider it anything but a toy for the uber rich

money no issue, I would probably drive an sled, ATV, or baja truck. Now if I had to go on roads, for daily driving I would probably take one of the top CL AMGs(brabus maybe) or bently flying spur. If I can be in a 2 seater, then probably an SLR. Again these would be if it's needed to drive everyday.

I have no idea what I would drive if I wanted an all out hell bent road eating machine though, maybe the buggatti just because? Astin martin comes to mind. Aero would be in the mix.... I probably don't fit though...

Definitely an Aston man here.

that SC v12 is maybe the sexiest car ever built. I have actually touched one, and put my head in the window.

It was a bit like the first time I saw boobs and knew enough to care.

I usually use wash -> polish -> wax but I was just too damned lazy to do it this time; definitely will next month, though :lazy:

2x a year is all for me. Spring and fall. Too lazy to do three cars anymore often. Basically the W is useless when it comes to cleaning her car. Luckily she is a champ for nearly all other projects when I need a 3rd hand though. I'll take the trade-off....even though I have no choice :)

Ok, how many people seriously listen to C&S. We have posters all the time asking about it and all that I know about it is our conversation on here earlier. So what I am wondering is what is a "good" song? I'd love a few just to hear. Probably laugh, but wth.

<--owns absolutely ZERO bass show off tracks, not that this is what this is about but I did realize as I was typing this that I have nothing that impresses average Joe when he thinks subs. Convenient perhaps for the car, but I will be interested in seeing what I can do to my foundation once I finish my Home Theater room.

*like usual, haven't started yet.

How often would you drive a Pantera if you had an E60 M5?

Especially if you had a wife and baby?

How much would you pay out of your own pocket monthly if one of your work perks was to have a car paid for?

In particular if it were a lease and at the end of it all you had/got to walk away

I would drive the pantera probably only when going to the bar or to a track or somewhere they were not comming with.

My W would flip and want to drive it daily though. She is a go fast freak.

I listen to it since it originated here and grow on me over the years while growing up. I usually get the old school, r&b and other renditions of popular music that they chop and screw. I just got the Michael Jackson Classics and it is incredible cant wait to get my setup together so I can listen to it on a real system. It is just a way they slow the music down and the chop (or repeat a line one or two times).

You have to understand that I am a cash only buyer, if I can't afford it, I don't buy it. Pretty much against a payment. There's a tax advantage here too...

And how much extra is an 07 worth over an 06 so you don't have the first year. In particular with the SMG which took a few months to nail down.

*possible to buy out the car at the end of the lease

**scared as hell to own it without a warranty though

I'm confused. There is a tax advantage to making payments or to not making payments?

I agree with the cash buying but if making payments on something that will depreciate slower than the amount extra you put in payments I say it's win win. I also use the word depreciate because if you have owned the car and know if it's a pile of garbage or not it's worth much more than just walking into a dealership IMO.

I would say go for the '07 Sean. Unless you know the tranny is clean and good. I heard a few bummer stories about guys stranded due to the trans/engine on the new M5. Not that you would take it cross country, but it would still suck.

I have no idea what you look like but your personality and emotional response tell me you need an M5. If you know of a better more fun place to put the payment money then I would go for that. However money is for spending so long as you have your t's crossed. If that cash would be more fun saved for a trip with the family, go for it. If it's better spent knowing you will enjoy every second you get into your car... well that's worth quite a bit.

I like benz. Quite a bit more. But I wouldn't cry if I rolled in an ///M-anything.
