Just installed the SAE1200v.2 in 27 degrees outside. Beautiful power. I installed it in the softball parking lots on the edge of town which haven't been plowed since all the snow came down the last few weeks. It was 6" of ice, slush, and snow. I almost had to put it into 4wd to get in and out of there, almost got stuck once.

:woot: that is what I like to hear, installing products in the cold. Sounds like fun to me.

Quick Question for you fellas, Im wanting to upgrade my starting battery to either a Optima Red Top, Optima Yellow Top, Shuriken SK-BT60 or Sk-BT80, XS Power S3400 or Kinetik HC1400 or 1800. I dont have a budget but I dont want to buy the most expensive one if the others will do fine, so price is not a factor. It will eventually be accompanied with a 100AH or better AGM battery (Shuriken, XS Power or Kinetik) for my sytems needs. It will be going in a Saturn Ion-2 with a 105 amp alternator, if you need anymore info let me know. I decided to post this here to get some quick and good replies without being filled with clutter.

** My stock location is in the trunk and can fit a battery up to 11".

I have had great results from XS / SVR / Optima / Stinger / Deka.

Yeah I have had great success with Optima Batteries in the past also, the only problem is after reading there site it states you shouldnt mix two different brand batteries. Considering I will be adding a 100AH or better AGM battery to the mix, I would be mixing batteries. I always heard it wasnt a problem but if Optima is saying it shouldnt be done should I still do it?

Out of the typical 2 hours and 54 minutes of the average NFL broadcast, a whole 11 minutes actually feature live game action. So next time you want to call out soccer or baseball fans for following a sport where nothing happens, you might want to tend to your own garden.

The lion's share of camera time, about 75 minutes worth, is devoted to players standing around on the field. Getting up after a tackle. Jogging back to the line of scrimmage (loping if you're Randy Moss). Huddling up before the next play. When you watch football, this is what you're mostly watching.

An unsurprising second is commercial breaks, making up about an hour of the broadcast. This might sound high, but just think of all the score-commercial-kickoff-commercial sequences, and we're thankful it's only an hour.

Heck, even replays get a larger slice of the pie than actual game action; 17 minutes or so. For every live play, expect the replays to last half as much again.

Isos on coaches get half as much airtime as gameplay; shots of players on the sideline get roughly a third; closeups on the referee about a fourth.

And, from the good things/bad things department, the two elements that get the least TV time? Sideline reporters and cheerleaders.

roid use should just be decriminalized and allowed in sports.

might as well

More money and time is spent stopping the use even though it's rampant use is everywhere. It doesn't make sense, then goal is to put buts in seats. The more home runs the more TD's the more goals the better.

Look at football, the rules are changing every day to make the game far less about defense and more about offense.

Disagree. The two foot down rule for WR this year proves that.

I'm not going to lie. I don't follow football, but you're saying that the rules aren't in favor of offence and more TD's?

What is this new rule?

Offense rules were put into place recently, but this year they compensated to reduce the scoring. Both feet have to land in bounds to have it be a complete catch.

That has always been the rule in the NFL for as long as I can remember. It's just in college where they only have to have one foot in. Again, unless you're talking about the push-out rule. But I don't remember if in years past they had to get just one foot in before being pushed out or what.

You need to review. Last year you didn't need to have both feet in bounds, this year you do. Assuming that of course a defender is the cause of you going out of bounds. Not like college and definitely new this year.

Also Sean and Ryan.................Kitchen knives...............what brands do you guys like best and why?

J

The ones that fit in your hands the best.

NEVER buy a knife set, they NEVER, EVER work best for you. Do buy something with real metal in them though. At least Wusthoff quality IMO.

Does Sean like Cutco knives?

No, and I have a lot of experience with them as I have a set. I use them for when I want to cut something that a good blade should never touch. They are made with cheap steel and don't keep a good edge for shit.

***I love the serrated one for cutting carpet though, saved my ass one day.

possession plus two feet in bounds for a reception to count in the NFL has been a rule for long time, definitely not new

starting in 2008 they stopped using the forced out rule

used to be:

A forward pass is complete when a receiver clearly possesses the pass and touches the ground with both feet inbounds while in possession of the ball. If a receiver would have landed inbounds with both feet but is carried or pushed out of bounds while maintaining possession of the ball, pass is complete at the out-of-bounds spot.

they merely threw out the second sentence
