I take that back, the engine and transmission were perfectly intact even after the wreck

Megan ugly, no. Tiny and a bit breakable... yes.

Perhaps not your particular brand of vodka, but ugly.... No

Anyone here know about the lifespan of the Lincoln LS cars (v8) and associated problems? A friend of the woman's had the engine in his Continental go out (4.6 32v) at 295k miles and he picked up a 02 LS. That seems like a damn nice car, more comfy than the Cadillac, not as much power though, but it is rear wheel drive and seems like it is better laid out and a very nice ride. Curious as to what you guys think of them since it is a distinct possibility that I will pick one up by the end of the year.

My brother has one, and I looked at several last year. I'd lead towards an 03 or newer. More power and several updates. Nice cars though. Reliability will depend on the previous owner really. They're pretty durable though. They all used the 5R55 auto except for the first gen which was available with a 5sp. I believe it was the Getrag, but not quite sure. You may find some here and there with a few electrical gremlins, but the Jag engine is strong and reliable as are the transmissions. My only gripe is the delay in the throttle due to it being electronic. They used the Jag programming for this in the early cars and it's quite unbearable at times. It's a fraction of a second, but when you are used to putting your foot down and instantly moving, it can be quite a nuisance.

My brother had some Blizzaks put on his before the snow hit and he said he prefers it in the snow versus the Explorer with 4WD.

Mine is relatively vanilla as well. 600cc engine, 120hp, 435lbs. Does probably 105mph total, traction limited 0-60's somewhere in the 4's. Trails being a whopping 10' wide with a ski stance of 4' you get to carve and carve and carve away. When that gets not so peaceful off to the ditches where you get a jump every 1/8th mile or so. Then you can add the boondocking in fresh deep snow and bars/gas stations connecting all the trails and it is a hoot. Pretty much nothing I'd rather be doing.

You had me at the safe part actually.

Megan Fox is an ugly little stick, yeah I'd fuck her bit I would worry about breaking her in half!

So you like the meaty girls, eh?

I do. Skinny doesn't do much for me. I don't like fat, but I love a nice round juicy ass and some big muscular thighs. Volleyball players come to mind.

I agree. Something a bit more plush.

case in point.

To me megan fox is one of the only atractive extremely thin women on the planet. She still looks female unlike many of the non developed skinny chicks.. I like the dark hair and dark look.

I like mine REALLY thin, but with boobs. The boobs can be small if they match the rest of the package.

I thought about an LS as well, a bit too vanilla for my tastes but had SVT played with one I might have had one instead of the M. I've also heard nothing but good things about them, but haven't known anyone with over 120k miles on one yet.

Oh and snow tires >> 4wd/awd anyday of the week. Of course car dependent a bit. By far the BEST handling car in the snow I have ever driven was a non-Turbo 944 with snows on it. Unbelievable how well that car handled, but of course a near perfect 4 corner weight balance and not much weight with all mechanical controls help a shitload in that regard.

Computer gadgets do nothing for me in the shit. Take off the anti-locks, the stability control, traction control, and any other electronic grandmother and let me feel what the car is doing.

V8 models shared the same AJ-V8 from Jaguar, pretty nice engine from what I've heard

I have heard they have bad joints. I'm not sure what part's failed but something at the wheels.

I really liked the older subaru WRX (not STi I in the US yet I think) I drove with blizzaks on it though. I felt like I could go up 50 degree hills made of ice with water running down it.

I have become more and more timid on the crotch rocket. I love it, but it's not getting the ass kickings it deserves. I might trade it in for one of the > 1100 cc bikes and then me and the W can be more comfy too.

I'm not really near any snow trails though so i would get much more limited use, and it would absotively need a trailer.

Sean I know you're tall, but are you a very thin guy?

I loved how when I dated really thin and usually short women they would want all kinds of bad bad things done to them, but I always felt the need to hold back as sometimes my neck was thicker than their waist.

You fit in the WRX? I personally felt like I was in a ultra cheap car from the 70's that had been updated as cheap as possible when I drove one. Hated it. Not the way it drove per se, just the car. I imagine it did well in the snow. My old Brat was fun too, but not enough Powa!

It's weird. Remember the REALLY huge winged one? The stupid looking one. My friend and I (power lifter and as wide as myself but shorter) could fit just fine. He purchased for a winter car after he crashed his 6 cyl turbo s4. I think it had more room than the audi. His summer car was a turbo 997 and had more room than either when he would pick me up.

i haven't started the truck since early afternoon on friday, and she groaned a bit and fired right up.

Missfire and everything. For as much problems as I have had with that damn truck when she works, she works hard for me.

I'm doing the same, minus the ribs. Hopefully the Vikes show up this week. 1 win out of the last 4 is bad, especially from a team who started the season so strong.
