No such thing as a failure to feed on a revolver, or if a failure to fire, just pull the damn trigger again.

I have also been getting interested in revolvers lately also the last time I looked at guns.

<-- really HATES the word prolly

No offense to you J, just voicing my rant. The hair on my neck stands up when I read it.

EDITED to preserve Sean's neck hairs

I'm assuming due to nature of the conversation, you are not planning to complete a concealed carry course and carry?

I am looking for that............Suggestions?

J

Are you looking for a pocket carry piece or something full sized?

Prolly something more full sized. I dont like the idea of a pistol in my pocket. Especially with how much is in them usually.

I have fired the 9mm the .40 and the .45.

Wife loves the Springfield XD .45 I want it to fit her hands too and that fits perfectly.

J

Good holsters go a LONG way to concealing a firearm.

Please explain in further detail if you dont mind

Besides amounts of rounds whats the differences between a semi auto and a revolver.

Curious what they are like, interesting for sure.

DAAAAAAAAAMN. I'd like to try some BIBs with those, but seeing that I haven't built my Dayton Full Range BIBs, I doubt I'll do it.

Only 30w, but look at the efficiency. Tube amp or small cheapie ftw.

Perhaps office speakers.

who am I kidding, I am too cheap to buy those.

Wholesale price $132.73

I need someone to record the sound. Then if anyone breaks into the house, I am going to play it over the stereo coming from upstairs followed by a verbal warning.

Eh, I'd rather have the real thing if SHTF.

Didn't say I didn't want the real thing, but when it comes to a robbery a deterrent is definitely what you want first. NRA stickers on the security signs a must IMO.

We (spookhaven) have a wholesale account with them. I have purchased a lot of items from them for the haunt.

That is an interesting question to answer. Five of use run it. As for a sole owner that is not me, my wife and I are vested partners in this business.

One of the owners and own is the same thing, especially when there are only 5 of you. I figured from all the effort you put into it, but hadn't asked before.

It started out as a haunt at the local bike club and has grown into an addiction or sickness.

We just recently bought some of these http://jumpingstilts.com/jumping-stilts/extreme-sports/?gclid=CMSSs4Dh3Z4CFU1M5Qod1XNWLA

I just don't want to break my neck!

I just hope nobody gets hurt. Learning to walk in them is proving to be a feat in itself. When I get better on these, I will take some pictures.

We are visiting a friend this weekend he turns his haunt into a Christmas theme. http://www.holidayhayride.com/index.html

Hope to bring some pictures back. Randy always puts on an awesome show.

Delivering accurate safe shots takes priority over all else.

x 9 X 10^7897087090bajillion

Wielding the biggest weapon doesn't hurt either, but that is only a deterrent. Obviously hitting your target is what will stop them if the deterrent fails. And for me with a handgun that is like a shot in the dark. Not so good with guns, but of course I've hardly ever held one.

shotgun filled with bird shot would do great then. Won't go through walls either.

It may not kill though if they are too far down range of the shot.

I have a pistol grip with a folding stock and barrell on the short side.

kinda like....

revolvers are pretty damn reliable, I would much rather have an auto though and just make sure it's in good working order. If I was way out in the boonies... then I might feel different.

I would prolly probably walk around with a .44 mag, and a back slung shot gun.

....I need those in extra fat guy please.

if you can really run up to 20 mph and jump 9 feet I would never stop wearing those unless it was to drive. My co workers would be SO pissed.

ryan will probably answer the revolver vs auto loader better than myself but what it comes down to is 2 factors.

In a revolved you only rely on one spring for the hammer and very few moving parts. In an auto pistol you have many springs that could fail on you. Not the least of which is the magazine spring. I never keep a mag all the way full. I also rotate between mags to keep my springs as fresh as possible.

autos in general have a faster rate of fire, hold much more ammo, and have quite a bit in customization options that revolvers do not. Again though this is due to the fact auto's have more moving parts.
