Snow day here for the kids.

Snow day for me too! "Due to weather conditions, all state offices in Topeka will be closed." Yee-haw. We still only got about 2" here, but in Topeka they probably got about 5", and my coworker that lives 45 minutes north of there got about 10" but huuuge snow drifts (30-40 mph winds will do that).

How much did you get Ryan2?

High of 14* here today with wind chill of -5*. Low of -6* tonight with a wind chill about -20. Holy cow. I cannot remember a day or night this cold here.

global warming hit MN with ~8 inches here in the cities.

I think I need a snow blower. I have ~150 feet of driveway....

I have shovel, and live in labor. But it still sucks. If I had a blower I would have done it this morning before leaving for work.

It is a snow day, no work.

HAHA!

For there to be no work in MN we pretty much need ~60 below or over 2 feet in 10 hours.

SOMETIMES schools will close on days like today, but most places will be open. I work in a hospital too. We Stay the heck open. (even though I'm not patient touch related)

Fuck, I have a bit more than that and it is at about 30 degrees (yeah exaggeration, but no way in hell even with a snowblower). Every time it snows, $40.

We got about 7" of snow probably, and now today the lovely wind is going to deposit it all in drifts. High of 14* today with wind gusts up to 30mph.
