insurance is covering it, 500 dollar deductible to pay though. good news is it wont make my insurance more expensive and i wont loose my 1 time accident forgiveness. so i can kill as many deer as i want!

Did I just see Texas go for a QB sneak on 1st and 10 from their own 1/2 yard line?

It's pretty common actually. That extra yard can go a long way to preventing a safety if a defender gets into the backfield in a hurry on a hand off.

Just picked me up some ground buffalo and venison from the meat market the other day. Cant wait to try the buffalo!

Don't cook it much as it will dry out. Best served med rare to rare

If you do burgers you can put a pat of butter on the patty when cooking. I do that with turkey burgers sometimes.

Easy to find here. Just stay out of the North woods areas and there is corn everywhere.

Used the buffalo in a meatloaf tonight with a little hamburger and sausage. Looks good. Smells good. I'll see if it tastes good.

Thinking of venison burgers next week.

Broke out the crockpot for a simple chicken recipe today. Few chicken breasts, two cans cream of chicken soup, one can cheddar cheese soup. I also added carrots for some veggies, but obviously with this simple of a recipe you can add almost anything that tastes good with a little cheese. It was fabulous.
