Where do those without health insurance live?

The Census Bureau sought to find that out, for the first time, in a survey taken last year and released in September. Over all, it found that 9.9 percent of children lack any health insurance, half the rate for adults under 65.

But there was widespread variation in coverage. Children in Texas, the state with the least health insurance, are more than eight times as likely not to have it than children in Massachusetts, the state with the broadest coverage.

Those who lack health insurance now are far more likely to live in states that usually vote Republican — the states whose senators and representatives are least likely to support a law to extend coverage.

That would seem to indicate that Republican constituents are the ones who would most benefit from passage of universal health insurance coverage. But an analysis of Congressional districts within those states indicates that those without health insurance are much more likely to live in strongly Democratic Congressional districts. Many of those contain large minority populations with relatively low incomes.

Big surprise...

A Baltimore City paramedic has been suspended without pay after an investigation into an incident in which a man shot by city police was mistakenly pronounced dead and left on a convenience store floor for 30 minutes.

Fire Department spokesman Kevin Cartwright said the paramedic, whose name he refused to release citing it as a personnel matter, was suspended for 29 days without pay and will have to go through re-training as a result of the Aug. 1 incident. Cartwright declined to discuss additional details of the investigation and suspension.

I wonder if he knows that when you arrive on the scene you try to see if they are alive...like by checking a pulse lol

Gah, got a small speck of mud today on a mid. Only cosmetic problem though. Got pissed and started looking for grills and found some that fit for only $15 shipped. Why oh why didn't I look earlier ?

I think I have enough time to grow a beard too. Barely though as it would be better with at least two weeks.

If I was actually going to dress up, I would want to go as the "Most Interesting Man in the World". I could live vicariously through myself because you can see my charisma from space. ;)

Yep, lets help the ones who don't ask because it will make us not have to work. Fucking sweet.

Depends on where you get them as far as price.

When you say your size I am thinking you are refering to inseam length, correct.

I wear a lg because I have a 34" inseam, but a 32" waist and it fits fine. Just a little big around the waist. If you can find a store locally you can always try them on. Make sure you check out what they have for your little guy too.
