Ever have anyone try to swing at you, in fear??

It happens from time to time. It is a natural reaction.

I see, I wish I could go to one of those. Just don't want to freak my heart again and have another "mild" stroke lol.

Unfortunately we have had people not read or listen to the warnings for those health conditions.

kader sorry to hear about Exxon.

Up until a few years ago I had got every single job I truely applied for other than one that I was not qualified for in truth.

Chase something that is important to you and again, set goals. Things will work out then.

<-- has never applied for a job I haven't gotten.

Which is exactly why I should go apply for something new, only to shoot the moon. Someone encourage me.

Double dog dare you.

Find one for me to apply to :P

General Dynamics, Dell and Lockheed are looking for senior positions to fill down here in TX :lol2:

know if they're looking for any entry level positions?:D

All the time :) Texas Instruments too

Any way I can get in touch with these guys other than the completely non-effective careers tab on the website?

Depends on how big your schnutz are. Perhaps determining what you want to do, how it might fit with their product line, and then getting a hold of someone in engineering and finding out who to talk to that isn't in HR would be step 1. At least, that's what I'd do.

methinks the "possible barrier" thread has run its course...

I don't think it will continue either

Especially if you're an engineer; practically every company from every field are looking for engineers down here in Texas :)

That's beacause if you aren't from Texas you don't want to live there :P

as much as I don't want to live in TX, I'd probably make an exception for LM or GD

They both have locations in Minneapolis as well ;)

...know anyone I can email? :D

I did like MN when I was there, but I think the winters might kill me

I don't actually work with either, but could dig around for names. I will add emailing is NOT an effective way of presenting yourself. Phone, phone, phone...if you can't do face to face.

Crap, that sucks, I had it during my chapel in High school(private school). I was nodding off, and on from being tired from two a days, and my friend knocked me on my back to wake me up. I woke up and went to class, but on the way I felt weird and my whole right side of my body went numb. My face started drooping and they called the paramedics. Got the hospital, and apparently I had a clot go though a hole in my heart, which gave me a "mild" stroke As they described it.

You ask about people takeing a swing. Saturday night one of our clowns got punched in the face, he came out of the scene and was looking in the mirror touching his face. I happend to be doing my rounds and told him that his makeup looked good, but needed to let the blood dry because it was running down his chin. That is when he told me what happened.

Ha kinda creepy, people could hide a dead body in the place, and most people would think they were a prop or something.

I guess that could happen, but I maintain the haunt so I would notice it.

Oh cool, how long does it take yall to set everything up? Sorry for all the questions, I've been up for 27 hours now, doing school work and I'm a little wired.

Complete tear down and set back up almost 8 months. Keep in mind we work on it on our days off and have work weekends throught out the year. This year we are not tearing it down, only changeing things up after the convention in March.

kind of hard to send a resume over the phone, but if it leads to asking for a resume, that works too
