It's old news now, but what happened to the thread where Bacus went off on M5?

That's all there is to it.

what...that the downside of putting so much focus on non-violent crimes is finally becoming evident? I think it's fucking perfect personally.

Pulling over a driver, discovering said driver has no permit, then letting them off with a warning? I have a big problem with that. People like that are just as dangerous as any gang banger...

lmfao...how is driving without a license dangerous?

You're behind the wheel of over a ton and a half of vehicle going anywhere from 30 to 70 MPH and you have no way of proving you earned the privilege to do so? Big Problem. You're a hazard to everyone on the road. Go to jail, go directly to jail. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Get a bicycle...

Its not hard people, the DMV gives them out to anyone (including illegals)...

Bad enough we have to deal with teenagers and the elderly behind the wheel...

You don't need a license to drive a 80' boat. Now that's fucking dangerous.

pengu I dont exactly know why I should have to get a liscence to drive on roads actually. There are plenty of good reasons for it sure, but we all paid for the roads equally, why should only some of us get to use it if the local government thinks we should?

Now lets say if someone were to abuse driving, the right to drive, as it was put. Then maybe they should have their "right" stricken from them.

The several ton until flying around at 70 mph makes a great statement for lives at risk, but similarly should prostitutes who are on meth be allowed to bear children? Or people with a crippling disease that will most likely pass to their children?

im going extreme but no more than the other side of the coin.

I don't even truely agree that everyone should be able to drive.

What I am illustrating though is that driving is called a "right" but at best it's a priveledge, I can kill a few people drunk and so long as my name is Kenedy I'm punished less than a poor 13 year old kid cruising around.

Long term they are cheaper to as they don't wear out when the fit. Imagine that. Hurts on the front end though paying $80-100/shirt

Completely worth it if they fit, and are made with good materials. Dry clean only? I don't think that would work for me.

Thanks for answering my !.

You NEVER dry clean shirts. Perchlorethylene will NOT get out sweat stains or smell. For that you need good ole water.

Plus dry cleaning is very bad for the environment. They always spill, which gets into groundwater. Like half of my sites are because of PCE contamination, and believe me it takes a drop in a gallon of water to make it contaminated past health standards.

Driving is a privilege, not a right. You have no inalienable right to drive a car, but you are allowed the opportunity to drive one, so long as you can prove that you are mentally and physically competent (which is essentially what a driver's license is, more or less).

I concur with your side.

While most people who break non-violent crime laws like this don't escalate to bigger problems, you can bet that every person that is a violent crimer breaks the non-violent ones as well. So when you pull somebody over for this, how do you know the difference?

It is seriously not a hard law to follow, and it does not impede your life in the slightest.

A good one spills less than an amazingly good gas station. When we sold ours we had to pay a hazard crew to clean up the ground but there wasn't really anything to clean.

Well hey I wasn't trying to compare to gas stations, believe me I know how bad those are as well! It's basically impossible to find any gas station over 10 years old that hasn't had a leaky tank or pipes. It's not uncommon to hear about spills of several thousand gallons. I'm glad to hear you took care of yours :)
