I really wanted the M to be a wagon, but alas the pucking germans don't bring over the fun stuff.

This is close enough for me for now: http://baltimore.craigslist.org/ctd/1336526017.html :)

the rear facing back seat is pretty bad ass, id take it....

New soldering tip + good plugs = 10 minutes to tin the plugs. This was a breeze so far

Thanks, but I am not buying out of state any time soon. Maryland used car racket, err inspection process, is very difficult to bring a car in from out of state with out getting railed with bogus costs and insane inspection requirements. So if I were to buy a used sled, I need to buy it in state with an MD inspection. The the 300D's run forever, and I have wanted one for a while. I almost bought an old 240D a few years ago to get 40mpg back and forth to DC, except it needed a little work I did not want to do, and a non-turbo 4cylinder diesel in a heavy steel intensive car equals very slow.

I just love the old I-6 w124 chassis MB's. Super solid structure, one gen before they went everything electro-nutty, safe, plenty of space, and classy. My sisters trusty 92 300E is still doing great in DC. It just needs a serious detail job. Only thing major she has needed was a radiator the rest has been normal upkeep.

The old big body diesels are worth good money and they will and seem to run well into 400k easy.

Thnx for the well wishes Adrian and Sean. I am feeling somewhat better, but I have VERY limited mobility, and the percaset only helps so much.

#1 thing I love about large station wagons is that feature...specially the 90's era B body GM's with the two way tailgate...

inguinal hernia? was your surgery laproscopic(sp)? my inguinal hernia open surgery took 7 days before i could even stand up straight and barely able to walk. Then again i purposely took it very slow, that's not an easy spot to have pain in.

Did a one-hour "Insanity" workout with a girl tonight. That shit is super hard. She has been doing it for three months and this was my first time, but she impressed me. I don't think I've ever been upstaged by a girl at a physical test before, but she took less rests than I did. I probably won't be able to walk tomorrow. I don't really feel tired, like it didn't work my lungs as much as say a 3 mile jog, but it sure would build muscle endurance. All of my leg muscles are tight and fatigued.

I was thinking you got laid for a minute...I should have re-thought that!

Ouch buddy. Ouch. In due time.

Dammit I just wasted two hours looking at stocks for the second day in a row without even noticing. And I was really disappointed when a stock I was 2 seconds away from buying last night went up 30% today. Such is how it goes I suppose.

Time to go lift.
