Did anyone try to watch the meteor shower last night?

I couldn't see anything from my back yard. If I would have planned it I would have drove out of the city a ways and watched.

Next time get your obstruction's worth

I wish, but problem is that my 210lbs does not go well for them at speed when most are 140 or less.

Even more confusing to not like shell fish

no doubt. Shell fish is so amazing. The wife may be alergic. She had some shellfish when she was younger and broke into a hive like situation.

If I had an alergy to shellfish I would suck it up, take a benedryl on the rocks and then go nuts on the scallops anyway.

On my 1st anniversary I had a reaction to Oysters. Went in for the full gamut of tests and find out I am not allergic to anything other than ragweed and cats.

Yesterday I had the most horrible messed up stomach at around 8:00pm.

I think it was the liquer crap finally catching up from sunday night. I may not have fully sobered up untill last night too, so it's a reasonable assumption.

My arse has been screwed up since Saturday as well. Fragrant to say the least.

Last Sunday sounded fine to me other than the $400 at a cheap establishment.

red dragon is cheap. I love that dive though. One of my favorite drinking spots.

I worked in bars for a good while, and it was a great place to get away from all the people who would be at the club. Great pork wontons, general tso, fried rice and pot stickers too.

Plus the wonderous punch.. that is one of the best dang drink values in the minneapolis. They raised the price to just over 10 bucks though.

And2 shots of bicardi dark bicardi light meyers and 151 each is the express ticket to a happy new astral plane. And I can't taste one drop of booze in that drink. Dammit Sean, you got me worked up wanting a punch for breakfast today now!

My doctor tested me for local alergies. She said the tests show nothing, but my sinuses are jacked eyes water, and throat gets a "closed tight" feeling. But she assured me it's not alergies.

She would like to try good shell fish again... Where can I get the freshest locally Sean? Scallops crab/lobster maybe mussels(those would be all me though I bet. I want to get the freshest just to ease her into seafood. Maybe make my life better in the long run if she isn't alergic as she thinks and actually enjoys it.

I love shellfish so much myself, even fresh frozen works. Frozen scallops that end up a bit over cooked still taste like the food of the gods to me. It's not on the same level as perfectly done fresh, but I'm such a seafood whore I'm just happy to be eating it.

I dunno about this year. My grandma is on her way out and they are measuring time in weeks..... And if she goes I don't forsee grandpa really wanting to hang out for much longer either.

That would make some 6 funerals this year, and after the 2 this week, I'm all done with greif.

:(

On Minnehaha, south of 94 a dozen+ blocks.

Do yourself a favor while in there, ask them what they think is good. No matter what they recommend they are always right. I drive there weekly and it is probably closer to you, perhaps halfway or so. :)

They used to have a remote location right next to my house. Bastards closed it :(

There are some other neat markets nearby as well. ;)

From the linky

Live too far to make it to one of our retail stores? Let us bring you the fish! Call our Minneapolis location during business hours to hear the day’s selection and place your order. Fish will be couriered to you by Quicksilver within 3 hours. Charges vary by distance and order size. Call 612-724-7425 for more details.

Wonder if this is limited.............as there is no limit on distance LOL

I never saw the quicksilver comment before, interesting.

Conveniently the coop that is right next to my house gets their fish regularly from Coastal, but I still prefer the source...A LOT.

Oh, and dB sometime just for yourself get some of the Bristol Bay Crab legs. Cooked & Frozen on the boat. Only frozen ONCE as well, most other king crab legs are frozen/thawed at least 5 times. It makes a HUGE difference.
