I think it's time to ditch my aftercooler and go with a front mount intercooler. This will allow for a blow-through and small gain in efficiency. Maybe I can drop a couple pounds of boost then and increase timing.

After two hours of finding bits and sockets. I've gotten the back seat out of the f-150. Also got to watch the neighbor, have something going on that required three cops to show up.

I'd rather have Black but that is my second choice. It has the right wheels though.

Crazy week!

Shumacher is going to race again, and BMW is withdrawing from F1 at the end of the season!

Hey Sean, do you have any particular tracks that you are extremely familiar with that I could listen to and give you an idea of what I feel is lacking on the system.

So far I think I have mids at 2.5K with a 18db slope and tweets at 2.8K with a 12db slope. I chose the 18 over the 12 or lower on the mids because it seems to me that on certain male vocals their seems to be a "ringing" of the voices from the mids and the higher I cross it over the worse it gets. I'm not even sure what Hz range that would be in for the vocals.

I performed time alignment

I put the right side speakers at -1db to counter the fact that they are much more on axis than the left side. I am considering getting back into the door panel and creating an angled baffle for the tweet so I'm not listening to the tweeter at 88* off axis.

I also used the G EQ to put a dip on the right from about 2-3 KHz if I remember correctly with the peak of the dip being -2db. I didn't get much listening time but this seemed to help the "ringing" sound.

Lastly, I really need to get all my 320 MP3's on my ipod because some of my recordings from the ipod are definitely not cutting it.

Are you listening to just the mids when the voices are bothering you? Is the ringing particular on s's or across any particular consonants? How low were your tweets able to play at the listening volumes you are interested in before they sounded stressed?

Lots of tracks I am personal with, but I doubt there is much overlap in what we listen to.

And DON'T eq or even attempt to figure out the crossovers with < 320kps mp3

Sure 192 might be fine for listening, but there may be artifacts. Any less is crap.

I like black better too but this does looks damn fine in my book.

I like black for almost any car more than other colors though..
