WALKERSVILLE, Md. - A Frederick County high school girls softball coach has been fired for hosting an end-of-season cookout at his Walkersville home where beer was served to other parents.

It was a cookout around Brad Young's backyard swimming pool on June 11 celebrating the end of a winning season.

"And one parent brought some beers to the party. A couple of people had those-- probably no more than five or six," said Young. "No kid was uncomfortable. No kid had access to it. No kid drank. No parent got more than probably one or two beers. I did not drink."

But another parent called the Frederick County School Board, which tells FOX 5, "The incident in question took place at what is considered an official team function."

And so Brad Young was fired and banned from coaching for three years.

fucking retarded

are you serious? I'm glad we have his dangerous ass out of the way so that we may have role model coaches like we had when i was in school. (That middle aged guy slept with all those 15 -18 year old girls)

teachers aren't teachers anymore, they can't be friends and they can't speak truthfully about anything, we are being controlled from such a young age

Anything that the Feedback Destroyers do that the 2496 won't?

I realize the DCX is noisy, but for prototyping it would be very helpful.

As long as its got a diesel, crew cab, LWB, automatic & cruise, brand is largely irrelevant...what it generally comes down to, IMHO, is what transmission are you willing to trust more; the Ford 4R70/4R110/5R110, the Chrysler 618/47RH/47RE/68RFE, or the Allison 1000 series...I have nothing negative to say about the Duramax/NaviStar/Cummins engines nor the Sterling/AAM/Saginaw axles...

Suburban/Yukon XL/Expedition EL + trailer is another option we're throwing around, would be a much more flexible option...

You mention another GM option, and though I am biased and do not like/trust GM in general, it seams that people in the south value Chev/GM above Ford. Most extended family I know and their friends are big into GM. They know verry little about vehicles, much less than yourself, but do you notice a bias towards GM chev in general in texas? Not that Ford is hated by the folks, they don't bad mouth ford really is what I am saying, but they ALL drive GM or dodge.

Here in MN and almost everyone I know north of me and paralel would not be caught dead in a chevy unless it was only for cruising around town, just a truck for looks, or perhaps a cheep SUV for the kids a GM might be acceptable. Some of the people up north really loath GM/Chev, and consider them trash.

Not trying to draw a N vs S argument but do you think that there is substance to that? Does GM do worse in the cold or something, or maybe it is just a idiosyncrasy based in no valid reason? Or is it only my perspective that there is a bias

Are you implying it follows the "education line"?

i have never heard that term before

lol

I was trying to be sensitive and not suggest that however.

Didn't realize you had one. Ryan's ftw. Do you run yours with a hot input and if so how do you attenuate/control the output?

I am curious as to the available filters in particular for the low end. Reason being is that it has enough inputs and channels to potentially do a few things for me.

1) Taper and control the sub response in my living room (1ch)

2) Cross some bass bins for the Maggies

or

1) Taper and control the sub response in my living room (1ch)

2)Taper and control the sub response in my future home theater room(1ch)

or

1) Taper and control the sub response in my living room (1ch)

2) Act as an active crossover for prototype purposes before building passives

and

1) Give me a sub output on my receiver which currently has one but it's blown. Conveniently though there are external amplifier outputs for which I'd plug the DCX into.

So with those goals in mind do you see any reason why it wouldn't work? Also, curious what sort of options there are for the equalization and if it has notch capability.

*I suppose I should download the software and play with it, but I haven't built my sub yet nor have I measured my room so I am not even sure what I "need"

The comments I read were that it expected a lot of gain on the inputs and without you experience some pink noise.

I was using it in-car, so I won't be of much help. It was so long ago, I really don't remember all the features. There was a huge post on DIYMA about the unit and NP really laid everything out there on the table. I still have the user's manual downstairs though.

As far as filters, I was running 24dB on the sub and IIRC it went up to 60. You could control level in/out with 3-way stereo or 4-way mono.
