this whole business with the fia and max mosely is really grinding my gears. i really wouldn't be surprised if the FOTA teams just pool up some cash and have that fucker assassinated. he's a real sourpuss bitch. i love f1, i love the rich history, the glitz and glamor of it all. it's larger than life, ya know? how dare mosely chastise the teams for meeting on flavio's yacht in monaco, who gives a fuck. honestly does he think he can limit the ENTIRE team budgets to 60% of what michael schumacher's 2004 salary was?

I agree 100%!!! It's their money; if they want to spend it, let them.

The guy I work with is an Amsoil dealer. I've been looking to switch from Royal Purple after reading some interesting independent lab tests. Anyways, I gave him and order for filters, oil, ATF, gearlube, and brake fluid and it came in under $150. Normally, I order this all through Summit and spend just a hair under $300. I think I'll be going this route from now on.

I'd like to see those tests, hate to say I've seen the opposite all though it was years ago when I worked with a lab doing them.

I've ALWAYS used RP and never had any issues with them. I wasn't really going to stop using them even after reading what I read. It just sort of piqued my interest, and then my buddy tells me he deals Amsoil, so I asked for some prices, and in comparison, I can't really say no. It's especially handy seeing as how most of my savings is going to be go to paying medical bills. Damn bastards!

I don't understand this. . . . Lewis Hamilton has amazing car control in the rain, yet he can't handle a slippery car on a dry track.

I use their 2 stroke oil for my snowmobile as that tested well, not sure on their non-lube parts but their synthetic oil failed compared to normal Castrol in the tests that I saw.

Brawn GP is a monster, and the boy's in Red are coming back to play. Red Bull is pretty sneaky too. This is turning into an awesome year in F1 aside from all the soap opera BS.

I just removed the off topic posts in AlanHall's thread. I don't mind his energy but his childish bantor is absurd. Is this fucking 3rd grade?

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any lubricant from either Mobil 1 or Amsoil. Good shit....

i totally agree, i think the redbull is slightly inferior car to the those of big boys but vettel is fantastic driver. i wouldn't mind seeing him replace kimi at helm of ferarri and become the next michael schumacher! vettel & massa ftw!

all this tire talk makes me start wondering what the next set for the max should be.

currently running Goodyear Assurances :peepwall:

and i live in texas and wont mind running summer tires

And you don't like them? Granted they aren't performance-based tires, more for comfortable cruising.

they are fine by all means. i got 20k right now on the front tires.

just trying to weigh my options. i would like a little more lifetime of the tire.

like i told adrian, i consider you guys my friends. and just as in real life, i will not stand for people trying to deface or tarnish the reputation of my friends. additionally as someone who enjoys and uses this forum on a regular basis it pisses me off when people try to detract from the quality of this forum by spamming or advertising.

Went out drinking last night with some friends and one of the roommates, got home and realized that my house keys were sitting on the coffee table and I hadn't gotten a spare made for my other key ring yet...

Fuck.

The roommate is with his woman on the other side of town, so I didn't feel like calling him.

It was nice weather and no bugs so I just reclined the seat back and crashed in the car. This morning found a window that wasn't latched so I popped the screen out and finally got into my damn house.
