need to renew the insurance for the crotch rocket and go out this weekend. I put brand new street race tires on it last summer and drove it 2 times.

lawl.

I've put 80 miles on my bike in the past 3 years

It was my summer daily driver for 2 years or so. I probably only put 50 on it last year. Some weekends I would just go for a 200 mile ride just to go.

I thought I would, but having a dock on Lake Minnetonka means that I go for a boat ride instead.

boat > bike

Only because it's hard to spare a hand doing 120 to cast

:D

So Sean in your wine collection how many cases of santa DVX do you have?

As you know it's the only appropriate beverage for being on a boat sir.

Zero, didn't realize. I thought all I needed was my flippy floppies

swim trucks and flippie floppies are a nesicity it's true. The DVX is just an added accessory to more complete the boating experience. Much like dolphin riding.

And having the right size fuse.

would sand blasting affect the finish on a machined cast iron/steel part?

What do you mean by affect the finish? It will remove it.

like the spindle on a steering knuckle, it's machined very smooth and possibly even polished, will the sand blasting affect that polished finish?

about 3-5 YEARS ago I got a ticket for blowing a light. I never drove in that area. Now my now wife did work over there, but the car they said was in the area was a POS and she was afraid to drive it.

Anyway, I didn't know I had the ticket as it went to my mothers address. I get pulled over with suspended liscence. I find out why then and end up going through hell. Then some time last year I think, I got a letter in the mail saying some law firm was going to fight the whole "send you a ticket in the mail photocop" thing. I put my name down on a list, no skin of my back. Well sure as shit, the whole photocop thing was banished, and after who knows how long of a fight they won I guess. And I just got a check for that the ticket was plus a bit of interest.

wait, they actually outlawed photo radar in MN?

Photo radar most definitely has NOT been used. I didn't think that we had any camera's even for blowing lights. Curious myself for the response.

AZ has the biggest fucking boner for photo radar/red light cameras/freeway speed cameras

The boner which went on over here stopped. Photo speed traps are banned. They can only use speed traps on the police cars.

Most of the boner here probably had something to do with somebody in politics running the speed trap business and the pretext was to make the roads a safer place.

there is SOOOO much BS money in those photo cop type scams. It's not a really big deal at a small level what makes it so bad it's just one of the most correupt way of doing things ever.

yeah, we all know it's just a revenue generator

they've put in at least a dozen freeway/interstate cameras within the last 2 years

one county has already outlawed them, and it's possible the state might as well when the contract with the camera company is up in about a year

Yep. If you need to protect it, use rubber sheeting and wrap it.

dry ice blasting won't, I'd be wary on polished though as I would expect it to etch.

You will see it degrade if it isn't and can stop

Perhaps some duct/electrical tape in between layers of masking to give it a bit more strength.

those kids are from my hometown, just a couple years behind me, i'm sure we crossed paths at a house party some time. because there is so much craziness going on in the bay area the good little whiteboys can pretty much act any way they please without consequences... i know i did :)

might be time to move out of the little liter class bikes and into a big engine scooter. Maybe the old man rocket 'busa.

:fing34:

little crotch rockets are for horse jockeys and gymnasts.
