Welcome to the IHoP

Today was filled with epic win. This whole weekend was.

Even though I have a migraine I'm smiling.

Granite came in on Thursday. Friday night I was tired, but got some general BS done. Yesterday, I got the gas line it for the cook top! Fucking A right. I need a powerfull vent. I will start bubbling paint with that uber burner. WTFBBQsauce. I got the sink in an got a faucet. I wanted something fancy, but setled on a well build Delta pull out. The plumbing was a biatch for that though. A real BIATCH, I made 5 trips to the hardware store between the sink and cook top. Made breakfast in my own kitchen for the first time since November. That is so amazing for me... I live for sunday breakfast. Also put up one of the 4 new directional light fixtures that we got for the kitchen. It was a lucky find too as it matches my other fixture that I have had from 2 houses ago and kept in storage. The other 3 lights are close but not the same. They are more hidden though. I would have pics, but the counter tops and everything is COVERED with bridal shower gifts.

My grass is real long 6 inches or better. It's bad, and weeds. So I needed to pick up my push mower from the rental property I have as my push crapped out last year. I need a riding, but I'm sooOOoo cheep. And it's a form of exercise too, I suppose.

Before I went to borrow the father in laws truck, I got a call from my cousin in law who could switch the pulley off the alt for my truck. I raced the 4 houses down to his shop and 15 min later I was back home with the alt in the truck... started it up. My HU can read volts and I was at 11... WTF.... THE BELT WASN'T on. DOH. Put belt on. Still read 11. Fuck. Had to go get mower soon, remembered spark last time I was working from the ALT wire grounding somehow. Tested mega fuse.... DMM is busted. FUCK! It can read though if there is any flow though and that fuse read DEAD. WOO HOO. Picked up mower, filled up dad in laws truck got fuse home, put in new fuse, YESSSssSSS!!11!!

MY TRUCK WORKS!11!!1!!

First time for that in months for that too. I will go get my scooter battery tomorrow probably, then the bike and the truck will be in full effect. Good weekend.

also too off the brush guard in the front and back for the truck. Going to wire brush sand prime and paint again.

Repair > replace

And I got a new smoer plate for the BGE to replace my brokeded one.

Now, if I did this all on a boat then it would be perfect.

For the record, the majority of the work done was done in shorts and flippie floppies. Albeit Birkenstock flippie floppies, but I think they qualify.

Jerusalem cruisers FTMFW.

how much do you guys think I should charge this kid (no friend discount) for 2.25 tuned to ~34Hz? Nothin fancy, just square enclosure with rounded port corners.

Picked up a new amp yesturday. Sony ES XM-3546. Now I can run my RF 800a2 on the brahma!

Its a 1 ohm stable 4 channel but I will just end up bridging it to get 100 watts for my fronts!

I saw the ES logo and I grabbed it. Suppose to be Sonys only quality stuff.

Yes, yes they are quality :)

This is enough to shut up all the Sony haters :

I think Ryan1 has or had a few of the ES'.

50 bucks after wood....

That would be materials and then 25 bucks/hour for actual labor time? Shouldn't take more that 2 hours if you work SLOOOW.

I'd charge double that, but to me 50/hr seems reasonable....as long as I am not paying :P

I met Josh at Maynards, he actually drove the bird. Tuning by guess ftl though.

Any cheap wideband O2 solutions? Even if it was just a sensor and my multimeter, I'd like to help him nail this down before he does soemthing dumb.

Weekend ftw here as well.

Wired the dock for shore power

Cleaned and waxed the boat

Grout is now on the wall

Sorted and cleaned up all my tackle, jesus do I have too much :)

Part way through re-upholstering a 100yr old rocking chair for the w to booby-feed in

Mowed, blowed, weeded, sprayed, and cleaned up the yard

Built some boxes for the sisters boat. Sub box is done without the cut out and some comps are in enclosures to put on the dash while whooping it up

Got CQC to control Pandora, my home stereo, and think I have a way figured out to sort my music on it as well :)

Feel like I am forgetting something...

And the last chore is to put fresh fishing line on 10 rods. :)

I feel like there is something else

materials + 100 sounds pretty good, it'll definitely take me longer than 2 hours

Still a couple hundo.

Considering the sensor costs them around $1 or so to make, I just figured someone would have taken some analog beast and made it more diy friendly. At that price Josh will probably fumble around with just the old fashioned guess and see how she runs.

All that time and money into the car. . . It would be stupid to cheap out now. Innovative is a leader in the industry, so you are getting what you pay for. . .

Or he could spend the same amount of money and have a custom tune done.

I'm an ES nut, but they are so pricey now it's nuts. Surprisingly, there are a few nice Xplod gems out there as well. They did make an Xplod ES line early on, then they decided to play the ricer theme like many of the others.

Innovative's stuff is even cheaper than some of the other options on the market

So I had some cams on order only to find out Comp is going bankrupt. I know they made good products, but I'm leery about buying their stuff and wtf am I going to do if I have a problem with them. Guess I'll just shove this in the shortblock fund.

Drove the GT several days last week and over the weekend and toyed with a few people.

Had some idiot in an LS1 Camaro with no exhaust on it keep fucking with me, so I finally got pissed and let him have it. Poor guy.

Got my ass handed to me by a Z06 and a Terminator Cobra. Was fun though. I seriously need to look into some traction upgrades if I want to use the power I have.

That Vette was NASTY. He'd switch gears, I'd pull closer then it was like I was standing still. Didn't get a chance to talk to the guy either as I got stuck in the RH lane and he made a left. Would LOVE to know what he had done to that bitch. Only things I saw were tail lights and Borla exhaust tips.
