so I expect those 22k ones to really fuckin' rip.

22k BTU open burner? Jesus motherfucking Christ it'll probably launch a goddamn space shuttle into orbit :wackit2: :wackit2:

And won't really still be hot enough for true wok cooking. I am putting a 200k+ btu burner outside for those duties though, but alas I live in a part of the country that has 4 beautiful seasons so I will wok a little bit in the house.

I doubt I will ever look at another washing machine other than fisher paykal. I'm really impressed with how quiet it is, how clean it gets my clothes, it has direct drive and is top loading. Amazingly effecient too.

I am a front loader only person, they always clean better.

You really feel that? I was totally unhappy with my last front loader. Whirlpool I beleive. It may have just been other things that ticked me off about it, but I never felt it did the job.

I like the ease of use of an elivated front loader, but considering how simple the machine I have is now and how powfull it is, I'm happy. It's no beauty contest winner though....

yeah, front loaders are superior, just keep an eye on the gaskets on low level models. Maytag damn near went bankrupt after that Neptune fiasco...Maytag Repairman...lulz...

Also, I do believe ///M5 comes from a gigantic family that happens to do anything and everything...probably has a porn star sibling to boot... :wacky:

No, I am just old compared to you. One of three kids, but all rather intelligent but with severe ADS and dealt with it by doing shit and learning. All of us strive to learn, my whole extended family is that way as well.

Surprised you haven't laid into me yet about last night.

I sent you a picture heckle via cell from behind home plate on the 3rd base side. ;) Either way, it was a beautiful day and win, and a little redemption for the back stabbing from Tex seeing him go 0-4, and Burnett (both were boo'ed on epic levels, wonderful to see that passion from the fans). Plus seeing CC tank was interesting. Not to mention a tiny bit of instant karma ala anti-Jeffery Maier style in left field. I am not going to trash talk you as it is just the 1st game and I am not that type of 'fan', and the Yankees should come storming back, if they don't man what a waste of money. Anyway, all that mattered was that yesterday was a great day for Baltimore baseball, not just because they beat the Yankees is stylish fashion at home on opening day, but that there is a sense that they have turned the corner and could be headed back to the killer Orioles of major winning proportions from the late 60's through the mid 80's. We know that this is not the year for our team, but it is an awesome year to watch what is coming; 3 stellar starting pitchers on their way, and the #1 prospect in all of baseball (kind of funny when Weiders had not played an inning yet and there are articles saying he is the best catcher in baseball and probable ROTY :P ). Plus what is happening right now with Roberts, Guthrie, Markakis, Jones, Yoji, etc. etc., young talent that is only getting better and better. As in a great hope has returned to this team and it's fans, and that they can surpass the massive Ripken shadow. So one great day to give hope to the fans and the team for the future, even if it does not mean this year. :) Go O's.

There is a reason they call St. Cloud granite city.

Sean do you feel comfortable giving any recomendations? The slabs we wanted are sold.

:(

I haven't bought any up there, but can ask my brother in law. What did they call the slab you were looking at?

I'm pretty much open to a different color.

Vyara Juparana Granite is what we liked. They had some specificaly nice peices in stock though. The sample peice looked like crap.

Like this?

http://www.marble.com/stone/Juparana,Golden,Vyara,268.html

that is damn close. the one we looked at was almost shaded with a blue gold type color. amazingly close though.

that place has HUGE selection.

My softball team won both games last night, but I really need to get into some batting cages or something. I always hit the ball when I wanted to, just not where, and hit I think 8/10 ground balls.

Not super positive that Granite from India will be cheaper in St. Cloud; however, I'd call the places around Cold Spring, MN as along the highway there are a few different granite sales offices. They should be able to tell you if they have something similar and what it is a sq ft. It would be good for reference pricing anyway.

Curious as to where you were when you saw the Juparana?

Stone source in plymouth. Wifes cousin got a decent price there. We are really trying to not have the extremely black type granite. Something with a broader pallet to pick up on the colors from.

I don't need it fron india either. It was just one of the 2 we liked, and probably only because the 2 larger pre cut peices has some amazing natural paterns in it.

We were fans of things with at least 2 colors, staying away from yellow type stone. Veins > Speckles. That site is great for looking at styles.

The wife wants this now that she saw that site.

Not so sure I'd go that extreme in a kitchen, bathroom sure but that is a hell of a lot of stuff going on for a kitchen.
