While going out to brunch with my aunt and wife at the Red Stag I see a new S550 parallel parking. In a matter of 6-7 in and outs the driver clobbered the back end of the Jetta in front if it hops up the curb, and then drops sideways down it. Unless he had some amazing defensive rubber he notched his rear rim, and maybe the front.

I wanted to cry seeing a car get treated so poorly.

That would be a 5.3 for the Camaro, the Impala has a LT1.

weather.com says tonight we may get large hail and tornadoes. I've never heard them actually predict tornadoes. But yikes.

Geee, great.

my sinus's are being ass holes.

The wife left her keys in my truck so when I got to work, I got a call. Had to drive back home pick her up and drop her off at work so she could shave some minuites. Nice part is the boss is letting me call it my lunch at 7:10 AM.

Sweet. Thank god I leave the office early to go present to some new hires today.

Sales of guns and ammunition are booming in Iowa, fueled by worries of possible federal restrictions.

Many firearms dealers are reporting shortages.

At Jack Smith Gun Sales in Des Moines, ammunition is selling "as fast as we can unload the boxes," said owner Jack Smith. He's been getting 50 to 80 telephone calls daily from prospective buyers and occasionally has to take the phone off the hook to handle customers in the store.

Some quick points as I spent too much time trying to catch up:

Terps won!!!!, we won my soccer game last night, brain numb from 3 intense days of full tilt studying for a certification exam, need to get off of here and run to the gym real quick, but enjoying listening to M1live and decompressing from studying.

  • Congrats caligreen,
  • Welcome to SSA Tiffany, and glad you are not scared off by us old horny men ;)
  • Kent thanks for refreshing the spam rules, I have no bugaboo with some postwhoring, just like to know where it starts and stops :)
  • Tom, love that dual boosted pictures :)
  • Sean, just put a full set of Yoko AvidV4s's on the 528i, measureable improvement in a few areas over the Goodyears that just came off. But I need to get new rear rotors and pads. So :) -> :(
  • Audio-neon, glad your computer is allowing you back :)
  • Ryan, excellent post (in green) need to show it to my wife, seeing that I am a '77 and she is an '80. I was alive when Elvis was still kicking, and born under the Carter administration, was brought home from the hospital in a light blue '73 Bug.

Pads and Rotors from Zeckhausen. The Axxis Deluxe stop the dusting problem and he should have some cheap rotors. It's a bm'er so they are ultra easy to slap on.

Just checked and their price on the stop tech slotted rotors are not bad. But then I would need to do all 4 instead of just 2.

I wouldn't spend the money on the slots, just get the cheapies. Not like you regularly run into fading situations in your DD.

This is true, but I did get to wring it out some yesterday in a short romp out west of the city yesterday. :)

MY POS '07 G35 broke down on me AGAIN last night, leaving me stranded on a packed highway with a shoulder that was narrower than the car. Inifiniti roadside is failsauce and started to send a tow truck to my house, until i called them 20 mins later to ask why they didn't need my location

After another 20 mins of running them running around back and forth they said they couldn't send a driver cause i was on a parkway where only one company can tow

I started screaming at the operator about how the car was the biggest piece of garbage ever, they were idiots, people were swerving around me to try not to hit and they just wasted almost an hour of my time leaving me in a precarious position and on top if that i was squeezing my dick so i didn't piss my pants but there was no room for me to get out of the car

Anyway, long story short, tow guy that I called gets there, we go to gas station thinking it might be a bad sending unit and i was out of gas. not the case. had it towed to my "local dealer" still 60 miles from home

At the end of the night i had to pay 380 for towing and 45 dollar tip on top of that. Now who knows whats wrong. I think the last dealer who replaced the IPDM (fuse/relay assy) due to water damage didn't cover it up right cause there were traces of corrosion and rust on and around all the fuses and relays

I am SO angry right now

I hate Nissan products, this and my maxima were the least reliable cars i ever owned out of more than a dozen. Going back to the germans after this

Wow, I am very sorry to hear that. Buddy of mine had serious issues with his Armada and Nissan had some very questionable business practices when he owned it when there was an issue. Personally I will not touch a Nissan newer then maybe a '93 300zx. :)

I think I see a 328is in your future. :)

need to find a tire guy who knows what the hell they are doing with Mercedes...rotating the tires is gonna be a bitch

What makes them a bitch? Do they have the bolts instead of lug nuts? The holes seem small, but that's what thin-wall sockets are for :).

Mine has very long bolts and it can be pesky to take on or take off the tire.

it's been really hard finding ammo locally and on the web. i find most places are totally cleaned out of popular cartridges for pistols and rifles. you can find expensive and exotic stuff but the ammo we all like to shoot day to day is tough to come by. not to mention i paid in full for a ruger p345 the second week of feb. and it is still back ordered. the gun industry is temporarily booming :)
