Bone Marrow Biopsy FTMFL!

ah, crap I bet that's unbelievable pain. At least it looks like it on House.

The worst part was the procedure. It felt like someone was taking a jackhammer to my bone. It's the hip bone on the back just above your ass and I swear every nerve ending is right there. Now it just feels like there's liquid fire running around my lower back. I have to walk like an old man.

Hope you feel better soon Ryan!

define close? :lol2:

I would consider close <30 minutes drive time.

Obviously you aren't a city kid. Just crossing Minny can take double that.

MK, toss up. If its on there, I'd keep it on until you finish other stuff. I like it better without perhaps a little more, but only when I see them side by side otherwise it may be the other way around. Could be I am used to looking at mine without as well.

Haven't driven there thankfully, not looking forward ever doing it either.

I do regularly. Chicago is great, by far my favorite city in the country.

Wouldn't mind Chicago to much, I have family up there, I have zero desire to ever go to California though, and not much more to go to NY city either.

California pretty much sucks, in particular around LA. I'd rather go to West Virginia lol

I'm trying to think of a place that would rank lower than California on the list of where I'd like to go.

I'm not coming up with anything.

I'm also sort of getting used to my truck with the 3.73's and 35's, which is great because I that means I won't be able to stop smiling when the 4.56's go in

I have zero desire to live in any city larger than Lawrence (80,000). Maybe that's because I grew up in a town of 20,000 and it took 5 minutes to get anywhere in town. Loved that. This 45 minutes to go anywhere in a big city is for the birds.

When the 5.3 dies I'm considering swapping in a 5.7L LS1...

Why not the LQ9

I thought about it, still thinking of course. A couple reasons why...

1. LS1 is more original

2. I like the sound of 5.7L :P ( I miss my 5.7 from the old truck)

3. I want to keep 4L60E, a 5.7 can provide enough power to push the 60E to its limits

4. Better gas mileage out of the 5.7 (I think...)

I don't know the price difference between the 2 but that was a couple reasons. Feel free to tell me most of them are dumb :P

I can also mod my block to 5.7L So not technically LS1 but I can pic better heads, intake etc...

1. there's probably a good reason why people aren't doing it....

2. a LS1 will sound nothing like your old SBC even though they're both 5.7L, the firing order and valve angle are both different and those make the biggest differences in sound

3. you're going to need to build up a 60E with a strong LS1 or a strong 6.0L

4. maybe half a mpg or so

6.0Ls are generally cheaper than LS1s

might as well just build the 5.3L
