i'd really like the stainless ruger p345 .45auto to go with my revolver too but i think a rifle and scope will tap my firearm budget for the time being..

I want a bolt gun in 6.5-06, a modified 1911, and a DPMS Panther AR-15, that would only take about 5k....

lol you have expensive taste! the m77 hawkeye's are like $500 and they are supposed to be accurate and reliable, .308 is the logical choice for me because you can reach out pretty far with good stopping power and the ammo is dirt cheap because it's a standard nato round. i'm trying to get out the door for under $750

I've got friends who are gunsmiths and build match rifles and pistols so I'm set on getting them built for me, plus I like guns that do what I want them to do, and I normally can't find anything cheap that does what I want to do... Plus I want a setup to engage anything I want past 1,000yrds.

my experience level with rifles is uhhhhh iron sights :D i know a .308 is pretty effective past 400yards and i don't even know where i'd find that kind of distance for practice. but yeah, having things built for you > buying prefab. you lucky gun, you! :captain:

Being in good with people that use to train special forces means you get to pick up on some nifty knowledge when you hang out with them. :)

These 'peekas won't be done for another week or two, but they are going to look pretty darn snazzy I think.
