There is absolutely nothing wrong with talking to yourself.

Going home this weekend to help with havest, get to sit in the tractor running the grain cart all day. You guys will hear a rant about how crappy a

$200k+ tractor radio is I'm sure...

Ah you got the boring job. At least you have a radio. You know it wasn't until like 10 years ago they started putting those into tractors and things. My uncle just got laid off of his custom harvesting job. :( The boss used to employ a dozen people and leased 5-6 harvesters a year and now he says he's downsizing to just him and his son. No warning, and my uncle isn't sure if he'll get paid for the last month. sucky. Now he's applying at a John Deere dealership.

tired as hell. i will be taking, hopefully, my power test for the police academy in roughly 2 months. so i'm training now.

i have to bench press 87% of my body weight, one time max rep. no biggie there, i'm training by doing pushups with my feet on my son's shoulders and him standing. so feet roughly 5' off the ground. good idea? think that approximates 87%?

i have to do 34 bent-knee situps in a minute. i had 27 in 30 seconds when mini me said something and got me messed up. still got 34 in the minute though. i want to be able to get the 34 in about 35-45 seconds though.

i have to sit and reach 15". don't know how they measure that, so i have no clue where i'm at. will try to find out.

i have to run a mile and a half in 14:31. i just did it in 13:57, which is 11 seconds off what the 20-29 year olds have to do it in. the goal is 12:50-13:30 average. does that sound reasonable to achieve in 2 months? i will be running 3 days a week.

i am also still training for my fight, which is also in november, but that will be bypassed if my ribs don't heal. (yeah, i just did all the above with seperated cartilage in my upper left rib cage. at least i think it's seperated cartilage, i know it hurts when i stretch, take deep breaths, sit up or lay down flat. otherwise, they feel fine.)

so anyway, that's what's up with kent, and why i lurk more then post. oh yeah, i go to my mandatory 40 hr starting monday. 500 rds of .45acp will be a flying next week!!! YES!!!

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

TYPICALLY sit and reach is putting ur feet against this board and reaching out 15" past your toes. Having long legs (like me) is one huge disadvantage here.

As for the 1.5 mile time, dude for your size thats damn good time. We have 15;56 to do 2 miles at my age. I used to be able to do it in 15:40 (damn knee). I see you making it no problem as long as you watch what you eat.

As for the push ups you don't even need to get that high. Have mini kent on forarms and knees (think like a muslim at prayer) with one arm holding your feet as you lay your shins across his back. Its a great for chest building.

Only other thing here is man watch what you eat and drink. ALOT of how your body performs when under stress is what it has for fuel.

i believe you should do pretty good, the benchpressing shouldnt be too bad, if you eat healthy and dont drink alot of cokes or anything and keep running 3 times a week, youll pass with flying colors, not sure about the sit and reach, i hate those things with a passion, and the shooting will be really fun! that would be my favorite part as a police officer

well i just noticed that my answer to that quote accidently went into the quote itself, but anyways you should check out Jeff Loomis' new solo cd, 'Zero Order Phase', its all instrumental and all based on the guitar, but regardless if you play or not, its pretty amazing, you should try it

electric, hes from a metal band called Nevermore so its kinda heavy i guess, but i know most people who arent into that kinda music is because of the vocals, BUT THERES NONE!

o by the way, the cd just came out today but if you just want to check it out they already have the entire album on youtube
