Sean if you do want that slate I will be gentle with it when I move it out and not hammer it. I know that because slate is soft you can use a mason saw, and dry cut, if I use a diamond blade. I just don't own one and don't think I want to invest. But if it can be moved and you want it... it's yours.

Don't hurt your back on my account, I was sort of dreaming. My schedule is so fucked, I'd say if you have something you can do with it :doit:

I just thought a 1" slate table top would be cool for the outdoor kitchen.

I will see what happens. I really don't like the idea of breaking slate in my basement so I WANT to carry it out.

Sean: I could get you a granite top if you want one, then the only trick would be getting it up there which would basically entail me driving it up there.

Curiosity is piqued. What do you mean by get one?

Figure out what size you want within reason, and have my friend thats family owns the counter top shop find a scrap piece and set it up on the CNC router and cut it out and I toss a little bit of cash his way for his time. Depending on the size of the scrap you want depends on how soon it could be available. They do have some big arse scraps if you don't mind a scratch.

Jim, how much do you want for that AI-net to RCA adapter ?

I was probably just going to ask $10 plus a couple for shipping...but to get to you, I don't know if it'd be worth it...maybe not.

Shipping in a padded envelope should be easy on $$. As far as usps says it's about $15 to ship. No rush, I need a big amp first and I don't know what I'm going to buy. If you have someone interested in it, sell it. Don't hold it for me :)

I must say the same about the FSC I have. It is like sitting on a couch, although driving and sitting on a couch should only feel similar on long highway trips.

FSC?

Full Size Chevy (his pickup)

Also known as my GM turd :D

which is well designed for audio installations and has exceptionally comfy seats :P

Of course why I bought it. Same issue now with the Caddy/Audi. Neither stock system is easy to integrate with since they are Blose crap, but I'd like to actually keep it looking stock and keep the stock Nav.

lol a guy from my class saw me looking at speakers and comments

"yea my bmw has 10 speakers so i'm not left wanting anything"

me.... "yea but they sound like shit"

him "no, they're bose, they're awesome"

me.... "bose is crap"

him "everyone knows bose is top of the line"

me...."yea everyone that doesn't know how music should sound"

him... " i know what i hear, and it sounds great"

i got a kick out of it, i guess ignorance is bliss

Ignorance is bliss. Isn't that a referance from ceasar in his bliss of his peoples ignorance?

Something like that...

Just went golfing on a short 9 hole course. Everything was bogey or double bogey until the last hole, which I birdied. That's all I care about. Ended on a good note so that's all I'll remember! It was my first time playing this year so it wasn't too bad, and it showed because my ball striking got better with about every hole. Sloooow people in front of the people in front of me. I talked on the phone with my moms for 15 minutes with the hole I was about to tee off on completely open (nobody behind me either). And I still caught up with them on the next hole.

I don't play golf, but that's pretty sad. I don't have the patience or control to play put-put, much less golf. I got bored and irritated with it last time, and just started hittin the ball as hard I could for the fun of it. :drink40:

Nope, nobody interested, just wasn't sure if it's more economical for you to buy something over there or here :) I didn't even knew I still had one, I guess I must have bought an extra for some reason.

Oh, and there are a ton of cheap GS500E's around here lately, but shipping one of them may be a little much :D

How cheap is cheap ? :P

Considering if I ever buy I'll make a trip to Germany to get one...

With the weather now, I don't think I'm going to be riding anything on 2 wheels too soon :(

Most seem to be around $1000-1600.

I saw a R50/2 parked by the Drillfield today, wasn't in perfect condition but it was all there, sidecar mounts on the frame, Earles forks, hump-worthy right there. :turkey:

I wonder who rides it, probably a professor...in the land of crotchrockets I don't see a student having one of those :D
