Had a F'n horrible time at the track tonight. Having problem with the E-fans. They don't kick on properly with the AC off (or with it on for that matter) and so I was sitting there in the staging lanes (No AC because you can't) and the truck started over heating. So I shut it off and chilled until I got up to race and only ran a 16.3 (.1 sec faster than my first run) And this is after LT headers, Tune, and E-fans and with about a 1/3 less in the gas tank. I dunno if it was because it was still pretty warm so I let it cool down some more and ran it again (still a little hotter than usual) and ran 16.2, so i said Fvck it and left

I know this truck is more than 2 tenths faster. I really need to get a hold of Nelson and get the fans figured out. And my damn headers still hit the front drive shaft when I hit certain bumps and shit while taking a left and I've tried bending them out twice now. But it doesn't hit when running wide open down the track. Really makes me wish I had the money to just say fuck it and go with a turbo system (Could get a damn near turn key twin turbo system for $3500 w/ twin water to air intercoolers).

Going to get up tomorrow and take my truck up to a reputable exhaust shop if there still open with the Hurricane coming and all and try to get all the leaks sealed up, and may go ahead and pull the header so I can get a good angle on it and get the clearance I need once and for all.

The CF doesn't match anything in the car, but I figured what the hell.

I need a program where i can type in questions and anwers and it shows the question to me, i type the answer and it checks it against the typed answer (so even spelling counts)

anyone know of anything like that?

I don't, but you could probably make one in visual basic or the like fairly easily.

You know VB well?

I may have some questions later on :)

haha um, no. I took a class in high school (7 years ago) where we worked on it for a few weeks. Basic stuff. I just remember you could do stuff like that.

Dad just got a new LG Flat screen, and now I'm pushing really hard to get him to let me build some new speakers I got 80W at 6 ohms to work with, what would you guys recommend?

These 2 have caught my eye. The second because of the nice drivers and the super simple crossover design

How much do you have to spend on this?

I've learned not to build or get anything too nice for the folks' place...they end up wanting it for themselves :D

Since I'm already whoring it up. The MAW-10 is such a sexy driver and I can't believe they stopped making them. Hopefully will have a box made for it soon

What ever I build they will keep because Dad will be paying for it I'll just be free labor.

I think about $450 for Drivers and crossover components.

No active is not possible I have 2 channels to work with and thats it :P

At home, I don't have a lot of experience with active setups outside of horns, good amps aren't quite as commoditized as in 12V so I haven't been able to afford it yet :)

I don't think any of the Zaph designs would steer you wrong.

Knu 4 gauge vs Welding Wire 1/0. Not as big of a difference as I expected

I'd look at Jon Marsh's designs on htguide as well, especially ones with dual mids.

Out to go work on the Cadillac before I leave for the wedding, and on the way I'm stopping and seeing the worlds second largest electric shovel (90yrd bucket). :)
