I should be able to graduate in the spring...but that's assuming they'll be offering the classes I need next semester, which is not very likely :(

since I can't gte the KB supercharger, my summer play budget I have been saving found a few more bucks for firearms. I think I'm going to toss the rest in the bank though for christmass and winter, or if I really do hget the W's approval for the hot tub.

:D

If you were listing this for sale, would you would describe the condition and what should I ask for it?

1982 CB750k, 8240 miles, new sprocket, chain, battery, carbs recently gone through, new tires.

- I have all of the pieces to remove the fairing

- Stereo doesn't work, powers up by nothing. Perhaps I will put an old beater of some sort in there. Right now it is a factory Ford tape deck

Only thing it probably needs are rear shocks.

* Exhaust is non-original and off a different year or something, I have no idea.

Of course, I see a picture after I send a PM asking if you've posted pictures anywhere... :neil: But bigger/more would still be nice :)

1980, sorry brainfart

Definition of a brain fart: When you forget how many decimal points a P-3500 reader knocks off of a load cell and you are reading 240 and you think it is 24,000lbs when it really is 240,000lbs on a 200,000lb load cell. :) Thanks to one of the grad students for that. There is a 50% overload factor on them so it didn't yield it which would have been a 10,000$ oops. :)

I can get you one cheaper than 10k, I am pretty sure.

And last night while helping a friend move her apartment complex garage doors closed fast while I was backing out and gouged my doors.

The roof rack also took some blunt force trauma. I'm so pissed about it.

how does this happen?

when moving into the underground garage I just drove in. No problem. Lower celeing, but ok. Well when backing out of this low garage door !!CRUNCH!! Without the weight of 3 people ion the truck pluss the big TV my roof rack got caught on the garage. So I get out and stand on the back bumper and with my friends kid while the wife backs out. Clear the back part. The roof rack needs pait I supoise, but it's a peice of shit anyway and I really only left it on the expedition so I know when I'm getting to close to a roof. So then we run arounf to the front to stand on the brush guard to get the front roof rack rail under, and then the sideways closing garage door bangs into both sides.

It was not worth the 10 dollars for gas money my friend gave me.

here is a 10, thanks for all ur help :eek5wavey:

Sean: Any companies besides Instron and MTS do the revamping of hydraulic actuator testing gear?

Enduratec locally here might.

There is one other big one that is eluding me.

are you going to run those fostex IB. I was looking at those also to pair up with the l8's

Yep, I'll know more once they are actually in the dash. I still haven't quite figured out how I'm going to do it yet though. Really don't want to cut the dash pad up and not sure there is really to much room in the vents up there. Figuring on putting them up in the corners (but not to far up in there), cutting a hole for them but mounting them up underneath the dash depending on where I can find room for them. I also have that damn airbag to work around too. I can make a trim piece so the hole in the dash doesn't bad at all but still not sure about cutting it up. But what the hell.

You got my ears thinking about those again

=)

I told you, and of course, R2 that is what I'd do.

Left a message with the guy from MTS that is suppose to handle the K-state stuff. Gonna need him to put together a quote, and we won't even use MTS gear since it'll be a crap ton more expensive since the oil in this turret press is a different viscosity and their servos won't work with it and they don't like to do 1-way cylinders anyway.

Team hydraulics. If you want their reps number, let me know it should be in my phone.

Technicaly, it's the W's friend. She thought I was going to blow an internal gasket when i bumped the roof rack. I didn't see the scratches untill later in the night. I was actualy really calm. No one to be mad at but myself.

=)

I still feel like this though

:suicide-santa:

and WTF is with the alergies this year. I have NEVER had them before, but this year it's so bad it's making me have something like lock jaw.

pffffFF you're trying to get me to go 3 way.

I have drawn it out on paper about 15 times and I still get confused with the details. I can't imagine tuning it. But I will probably end up with those same fostex's and go 2 way..... then later... I'll think about 3 way.. then spend more. =P
