I found out yesterday that mixing my tequila in margaritas anywhere similar to the way I mix bourbon in coke is a bad idea

i've read a lot about shellac, may actually try that.

Shellac really soaks into the mdf the first coat. I actually used a rag to apply it. I would do 3 coats for sure if the baffle is going in your door

Are there any good references for 120VAC home wiring, something like BCAE except for 120?

I'm doing a simple, two-circuit outbuilding next weekend but I'd like to have a reference just to make sure what I'm thinking of doing isn't totally stupid in terms of sizing things...for example, I have some numbers in my head like a 2% allowance for voltage drop in power conductors but I'm not entirely sure if that's even right or not. Also not sure what they want for grounding...I can think of more exciting ways to spend a Saturday than pounding 10 feet of copper into clay :P

Grounding will be specific to your local codes.

How far away from the main breaker are you and exactly what all are you doing? Don't worry too much about voltage drop, with AC you usually get a 10V swing either direction. Size your wire according to amperage and you'll be fine. I was an electrician for 10 years, just so you know.

You can go to your local book store, or Lowes, HD, or Menards and pick up and Ugly's Book.

Including the distance going up and down walls, I'm probably looking at an 80-foot run between the 200A main panel and the outbuilding. The only loads will be a fluorescent light unit and a quad box for power tools, I wanted to have them on different breakers so he won't be in the dark with a tool still spinning if he manages to trip it.

The exhaust already came in, but the headers aren't, they're supposed to be in tomorrow.

Kinda worried though because there hasn't been any activity since the 14th on tracking and it was in CA at the time

Cal-Tracs look pretty cool. Not too bad of a price either

Sanding sealer , minwax sells a brush on kind that can be shot on with a gun ( I got a cheapy I can bring if needed ) or if your really lucky you can find the Deft sanding sealer in aerosol cans. :)

Dammit, the 350 was the twin, not the four :( Still may make an offer, won't be anywhere near what it'd be worth if it was the 350F though.

And the seller of the 550 four I was looking at obviously thinks this qualifies as "excellent condition":

Bad photo or not, that tank looks like it's lived a hard life...
