Its really for my buddy. He drives a stock hemi Ram and that bastard is quick. He held up with my pops chipped F250 powerstroke on 35's. It was really about who got traction

All 4 wisdom teeth being removed tomorrow afternoon. 2 bottom are horizontally impacted & wrapped around a nerve. The other two vertically impacted, partially erupted. Fun.

Definitely not the best experience. Mine healed very quickly and I was eating solid foods within 48 hours. IV sedation FTW to be completely honest. Definitely take the medication until it runs out and keep the sockets clean. Starting on day two I started rinsing lightly quite often with salt water.

Run at the strip tomorrow, see what the baseline is then need to do exhaust, intake, and see what else... I'm kinda scared to even think about doing anything to the engine/tranny...

fyi, the drive from Denver to Durango is absolutely gorgeous

in 2 points we got to at least 10,000 feet, definitely not much oxygen up there

saw some snow a little off the road and on the mountain peaks

Sounds like he must.

It also sounds like you had a great drive around the US. Good for you man!

It shouldn't be too too much. The LS motors (really my truck is an LM7 but there similar) respond to mods a lot better then the hemis do (referring to the trucks that is). The intake, exhaust and Tune are really just supporting mods, probably 50 to the crank, which will put me even HP wise. Once I drop a good cam in there it shouldn't be close as long as I can get traction. Those 10 ply tires are going to have to go. I'm also really considering nitrous as well. Been doing a lot of reading and a 100 shot is fairly safe (as safe as Nitrous can be :)) but once you got it tuned and have an Air/Fuel gauge to read, the chances of killing your motor running lean becomes nearly nonexistent. Dry Shots are also easy to hide, so they'll never see it coming :P

Werd. Colorado is awesome. But if you've ever been to Alaska you know it's Colorado times about 4. Amazing up there.

Had the craziest, longest dream last night. Was at a baseball stadium when some martians nuked the city. I saw it coming and ran away to hide, and a bunch of my friends and family ended up in the same little walled in area I was under the stadium afterwards. Then we had to hide from the short and stubby Martians and couldn't go outside. At first they were dumb and we could just kill them with our hands without trying. But then they got weapons, and so did we, and it became a street fight and a fight for survival in our little bunker, trying to keep all the ways in securely shut. There was even a romantic aspect of it, as a high school crush of mine was in the same place as me. My gf was in another area that I was trying to get to. Uh oh! Then the military stepped in, and I became part of the military. It was so long that one time I woke up in the middle of it, checked the time, fell back asleep, and picked up right where I had left off! It must have lasted 4 hours. Maybe I should make it into a movie.

Anybody know how good of gas mileage the older Porsche's get? I'm looking up prices right now, but maybe one that's $8-10,000? I'd guess that would be an 80's model.

edit: just searched. 22 mpg highway. yikes. My explorer does that.

haha, in the text of an ebay auction for a Porsche 911: "PLEASE BID TO PURCHASE WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE IN THE PORSCHE PRODUCT AND THE DEALER WITH 30 YEARS OF DISCRIMINATING EXPERIENCE." Discriminating? oh no! Germany has already been through enough of that.
