I hate my damn eyes. They're already getting blurry with my contacts in. It's not from being tired, because i'm usually the most awake 1-2 hours after I get up in the morning.

Yeah, speaking of email. Humount is very close to losing business if I don't get a reply soon. Guess I'll just have to go with some cheap mounting kit

On this day in 1983, Pioneer 10 became the first manmade object to leave the solar system. In 1970, "The Long and Winding Road" became the Beatles' last Number 1 song. In 1967, U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson nominated Solicitor-General Thurgood Marshall to become the first black justice on the U.S. Supreme Court. In 1955, the first diamond mine of the USSR (Mir Mine) was discovered. And in 1927, a ticker-tape parade down 5th Avenue in New York City was held for aviator Charles Lindbergh. Part of the roof on the engg building atrium is gone, a corner of the building the nuc reactor is in is gone, but I'm not about to go tour that. The reactor I hear is a mess and I know they don't want people strolling through there...

yikes, but I'm sure if anything serious was leaking out, they'd be getting everyone out of there

Damn taillights stopped working this morning in the Cadillac, no brake lights, rear turns, LED light bar, nothing on the arse end. Haven't found any blown fuses yet either.

that is shitty, start testing things with a DMM I guess

Italy v. Romania, huh...

Should be an interesting game :)

Jim, if you go check out the 240D, check for rust in the floor board and door sill areas. If it is rust free and is a good price, I would jump on it. You can't kill that car if you tried. But just don't expect to having blazing acceleration. I have wanted one for a while now, but have not found one that did not need some rust repair that I could afford. Comfort, class, diesel, manual, all sound good to me.

Thanks for the info. It's unlikely I'll go that way, with a motorcycle I can work on it in an enclosed basement, with the car I wouldn't have any covered area to store/work on it. And yeah, finding one that's in good shape may be out of what I'm willing to spend.

What year is it? GM is using circuit boards for the LED tailights and many of them are problematic. This was a huge issue on older Trail Blazers. Check with a dealer on yours, there may be a TSB on it.

:woot:

1-1

Fricking Mutu missed the penalty shot. Still, considering Italy beat the crap out of us at every match, I'm pleased with the result.

And I highly doubt that is all of them ... there should be a LOT more than that.

Yeah, GM will NOT do a recall unless people are dying. They won't let you know about anything either until you finally take your car to the dealership. Luckily, I have some friends who are GM techs, so I get the DL beforehand.
