Hmm, local Merc that is a pretty good deal if it all checks out.

Nice looking unit!

I have a problem with the CLK though and where the b pillar is though. I sat in a coupe CLK and it was "ok" for fit, the E was like a supportive seat should be. But I just tried a CLK 2008 drop top and I was amazingly cramped in it. I didn't even get out of the parking lot for the test drive due to increase in cost and decrease in comfort.

maybe I'll get my jollies from BMW but I'm doubting that I won't get the comfort I'm looking for.

I really did like that I could get the CTS in manual too. Make me feel fast. It sounds silly but when the girly puts the kabosh on the porsche I have to have somethign to make me feel speedy.

I may just cheep out and get a used E320, but boy is that thing slow... it was just so comfy!

Pics. Or ban !

:P

You want pics of the cars I test drove?

LOL

I took out a mazarati Quatroport a few months back. I thought the CTS was a more responsive car. Slower yes, but much more responsive.

You guys have phone issues?

I guess I don't use mine too much other than texting and such, but I have the tmobil wing. I love it. It's a bit "young" styled, but I'm 26 so I think I can still pull it off. Even with touch screan and a bigger display I could go a good 12 hours of heavy use talking texting and surfing the net almost all day before I was in the red, but I still had time to go. I jut recently also got an OMAP over clock software that ramps the processor up and down, and I have noticed a big improvement in battery and performance.

Yep, we are getting smashed, had some hail up to golf ball ish size (not to much though thank god). Two more cells are going to move through it looks like before its over.

Not a bad day at work, finishing the morning coffee and watching a storm, while getting paid.

Ahhhh yes. I am wishing she had a porsche. But she may not let me drive it if she did. =)

I'd be the DD any day to cruise in a Porsche. :)

I agree, a thorough flooging would be in order, but I don't have a stick big enough. She's scary.... but I like women that I fear. It adds a bit of excitement to the relationship. I think it's good to walk away from a romp in the sack with a limp.

When i test drove the 911, I was amazed at how that thing handeled. It was fictional how it moved. I will say though I think that it's over priced by a good deal for what you get. It is one of the most reliable vehicles out there though.

we didn't get any hail, thank goodness. just rained hard. I was for sure we'd get some because a big red spot moved right over us. but it just made the rain come down in sheets.

topgun, it looks like you guys are getting hammered by this storm right now. It seems to be on an ESE track so I think we'll be getting it in about an hour ourselves.

I was just about to post that.

I hope the weather in the Midwest isn't too terrible when I come through

Over on the west side of town the hail was baseballish size. A friends 2003 Saturn Ion got totaled, front winshield smashed up, back gone, roof pushed in... Pics will be posted up in awhile.

stupid eyes. I think I have allergies as I sneeze a few times a day, get runny nose sometimes, and eyes are dry/itch. I've taken antihistamines and they take care of the first two just fine. But they barely help the eyes, which is the worst thing about it for me. I can't wear my contacts hardly at all without them hurting. I hate it. and it's weird because I've never had this problem before this year. I spent weeks outside at a time in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming the last couple years and did landscaping for a summer 3 years ago and never had a problem. But for some reason all of a sudden this year it's decided to pop up. Maybe it's because I am indoors all the time now. My work building is pretty old I think, and I know my house is. They've remodeled a bunch of other apartments in the complex recently and they're going to redo ours as soon as we move out.

lol, Merc means something completely different to me

"wtf, he wouldn't want a lead sled"

Indeed, I have taken to some European terminology in cars though.

Here in Lawrence the Merc is an organic grocery store.
